Less complexty equals high chance of long endurance and reliability
complexity*
Typical layout of a surface to air missile note the actuator at the bottom of the missile
I have my gamer boy grease already
Dont need more of that leaky grease over my electronics
while my missile is performing hard turns
Yes
SLBM's are harder to make
so yes i can
Depends on the target
you want to hit
because you may need Penetration Aids which will help the warhead reach the target area without getting intercepted
just tell me what you wanna hit and i can tell you what you need and teach you anything if you like
Tokyo is protected with the US's Navy Ballistic Missile Defence shield called 'Aegis'
All Aegis interceptors (missiles)) are called SM
for example SM-6
All of them rely on Radar guidance which means you need Radio jammers
Optical decoys arent needed then
I'll make it simple radar is basically this
Radar knows your distance by counting the time needed for the reflected wave to come back
Yes but if you wanna get complex the radar has 3 stages
Search
track
engage
Search radar uses low frequency waves that travel longer distances
They provide a general idea of the target distance but they can pin point the size or the exact distance or speed of the target due to the wave length
Track mode engages and radar wave frequency gets elevated to what is called X band or KU band for ultra high frequency
the accuracy of data is a lot better now and you can get a radar imagery of the target but your wave doesnt travel that far since its much smaller so you cant do that mode until the target reaches a certain area
Engage mode gets engage after receiving the data about the threat
so you do a trick called 'painting the target'
its focusing the radar waves on the target so you send a missile that follows those waves like a dog following a stick
I hope i made clear
its how stuff works if you want to guide something towards the target
you need more waves contacting with the target
with less wave length
and more updated real time info
S band waves (low frequency) arent good at that since they're large as i said wave length is damn big
Thats why in military radars you see that theres a search range and a tracking range
I hope i didnt make it long because its more than that too
anyway
The Radio decoys are Radio waves emitters that spam radio waves of multiple frequencies
the incoming missile relies on radio waves from its own seeker or the ground fire control radar
but when you spam it with what is called 'aggressive' waves the missile cant say where the hell are you since it receives waves and cant time exactly when the correct wave is received
The seeker is like what the f*ck is going on and it can no longer keep a lock on your missile
Yup so basically hmmm
there are two types of radars right
Theres whats called Pulse radar and Active Electronically scanned radar
Old pulse based radars are the one you saw in movies and mostly everywhere in the civile sector
they turn
mechanically
AESA adar on the other hands have multiple transmitters if you wanna call them 'mini radars' that allow the thing to scan using their different placements without having to turn the radar antenna
The advantage you get is A you can change frequencies a lot easier now
and you can have multiple frequencies in multiple scan modules (transmitter-receiver)
Story goes far beyond that in how you do it but i'll make it simple and simple and say the usage of Gallium Nitrides in antennas supported the frequency ease of change now
anyway
B youre able to focus at multiple targets
since you dont have a single large dome antenna that can only follow one target and turn mechanically
you can assign every module to focus on a certain target
if for example your radar jammer emmits a different frequency the missile processing section with confirm 'Radar jammer' and will engage the change of frequency
now your jammer has to have something to counter that too
its like a cat and mouse game
i'll get to part 2 in a sec just finish reading
and tell me when youre good to go
Alright
Any seeker to hit the target can use 2 ways
or pardon 3 ways
Active
Semi-Active
Passive
Active is the radio-seeker relies on its own generated wave to track and follow the target
Semi-Active is it relies on other radar's reflected wave
Passive is the seeler relies completly on the enemy radar wave
seeker*
I will provide a picture in a sec to give you a better idea
Sure just send me a message i'll be glad to answer anything
Whatever suits you Naval - Air - Space - Ground warfare
Because that's how im gonna earn a living hopefully
Us getting bread
Nah just spending money on military shit because im a paranoided freak
But for the weapons making part the military buys it from you
you have to impress them and compete with other (weapon makers)
Yes
Infantry is Golani brigade
Religion of peace
It was a welding work by a religion of peace welder
Me scanning the perimeter for any religion of peace personnel
Lot better
france is weak
fake nukes
loooooooooooool
fucc i dont wanna send any jericho missile pics here
cuz its sikrit u guys spies
but yeah they can carry nasty nukes
