For a children's show the characters die brutall onscreen deaths left and right and there is also many dark and complex themes especially in the later seasons

sometimes brutal, lots of clones die brutally tho

and some villans and major charcters it depends on how you define brutal

nope never watched Naruto, and maybe i was using hyperbole with brutal but there was a lot of death in that show, and just because its target audience was for kids doesn't mean the stories aren't good

and your free to think that, I happen to think the writing in the clone wars is amazing
