I don't think political science is really viable anymore. Conflict has bolied down to ethnic allegiances... Meaning that the growing, extended families with the best access to technology win barring a miracle.

The leading families of third-world countries, rich as they are, still don't have access to technology like white people do because for them much of the technology is foreign—it's designed and invented by whites.

But the better way is for "us" to do something about being those bigger and better situatated families, rather than worry about political science philosophies that aren't directly about strengthening the community (not the individual nor the State, but the community). Actual communities, not the theoretical kinds, are more humble than societies and are made up of family allegiances, formal and informal.
