Anyone here use a ferro rod for fire starting?

Bowdrill is definitely a good skill to learn I need to put more time into it seeing as how if you had nothing but maybe a knife you could make the stuff to get a fire started. I've only used a ferro rod a few times and it seems way better than my traditional flint and steel

Yeah I figured I can always re-hang it if the handle is shitty which is the only thing I worry about because the steel looks good. Most major manufacturers these days can't hang an axe worth shit unless you are paying out the ads for it. Good thing it's an easy job to do by hand.
