Frozen served a political purpose: to demonstrate that a woman did not need a man to be successful. Anything written to serve a political purpose (rather than to explore and create) is propaganda, not art.
Frozen was propaganda, pure and simple. Beauty and the Beast (the animated version) was not.

2018-03-28 05:17:10 UTC

that is some scary shit

2018-03-28 05:17:42 UTC

i havent actually seen Frozen coz im not a fag, but i dont really think its propaganda

2018-03-28 05:17:48 UTC

@Deleted User you a fan of the carthegians?

2018-03-28 05:17:49 UTC

I trust Professor Peterson isn't bullshitting around on this.

2018-03-28 05:17:54 UTC

they just were trying to make a movie that little bitches would like

2018-03-28 05:17:59 UTC

I only saw the first and last few minutes of Frozen

2018-03-28 05:18:03 UTC

@Deleted User yeah nig, Hannibals my hero ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

2018-03-28 05:18:16 UTC

I've seen it with my friends kids. Female empowerment is definitly a thing, but it's not anti-anything

2018-03-28 05:18:17 UTC

"On Frozen as propaganda, from one of my more influential Twitter followers"

is that Stefan Molyneux? He is the one that makes conspiracy videos about Frozen

2018-03-28 05:18:18 UTC

@Deleted User virgin rome vs chad carthage

2018-03-28 05:18:19 UTC

The move with kids movies is put the movie on for the kids, then slip out and come back at the end and say "woah what a great movie"

2018-03-28 05:18:30 UTC

dis nigger gets it ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

2018-03-28 05:18:54 UTC

I hear some more mornic people telling me they're tired of watching movies 100s of times, my expression is always "what the fuck are you doing?"

2018-03-28 05:19:04 UTC

lol

2018-03-28 05:19:10 UTC

If kids can't sit and watch a movie by themselves, what can they do.

2018-03-28 05:19:21 UTC

what are they supposed to do, play with them?

2018-03-28 05:19:23 UTC

read?

2018-03-28 05:19:31 UTC

fuck that nerd shit

2018-03-28 05:19:39 UTC

The thing is, spending time with kids is important

2018-03-28 05:19:49 UTC

but spending your time focused on their movie, that's a mistake.

2018-03-28 05:20:13 UTC

Kids movies are for kids, I'm never going to watch three ninjas again that's just not gonna happen.

2018-03-28 05:20:29 UTC

I had a lot of fun when I was six with three ninjas, but I never need to see it again.

2018-03-28 05:20:40 UTC

I've seen so many episodes of Dino Trux, it's not even funny.

2018-03-28 05:20:44 UTC

people don't parent anymore, that is the really sad thing

2018-03-28 05:20:44 UTC

smh

2018-03-28 05:21:09 UTC

The thing is, don't let your kids watch stuff blindly.

2018-03-28 05:21:17 UTC

real talk

2018-03-28 05:21:25 UTC

Know what they're into and what they're watching, but you don't have to watch the same movie with them dozens of times.

2018-03-28 05:21:42 UTC

They can watch a movie on their own while you're doing something else that needs done.

2018-03-28 05:22:03 UTC

just for some historical knowledge, this isn't the first time a Canadian professor has been widely popular with the hip youth and their new media

2018-03-28 05:22:10 UTC

they shouldn't even watch the same movie dozens of times. that just sounds nuts to me

2018-03-28 05:22:18 UTC

In a world of phones, you could even be in the same room with headphones on your phone watching something for adults like Star Trek or a documentary

2018-03-28 05:22:18 UTC

That's kids man

2018-03-28 05:22:24 UTC

they like repetition

2018-03-28 05:22:26 UTC

thats parents

2018-03-28 05:22:27 UTC

That is a thing kids do a lot.

2018-03-28 05:22:48 UTC

My nephew went through a Jurassic Park phase where he watched it multiple times a day all day.

2018-03-28 05:22:56 UTC

omg, that is me

2018-03-28 05:23:09 UTC

Listen, I like Jurassic Park a lot.

2018-03-28 05:23:10 UTC

yeah i know they do that, i just dont think it is good

2018-03-28 05:23:19 UTC

I saw it once as a kid at the movies and it was badass.

2018-03-28 05:23:23 UTC

apparently it is

2018-03-28 05:23:25 UTC

We sat right up front in a packed theater

2018-03-28 05:23:28 UTC

ONE TIME.

2018-03-28 05:23:50 UTC

I saw it again on USA or something ten years ago, I thought still held up pretty good.

2018-03-28 05:24:06 UTC

And then my nephew burned the movie out on Netflix.

2018-03-28 05:24:26 UTC

At some point, Netflix took it down, so he was forced to move on to something new.

2018-03-28 05:24:54 UTC

He's a big He-Man fan now, but Jurassic Park still holds a special place for him.

2018-03-28 05:25:49 UTC

When I was his age, I found out about three for a dollar movie rentals on monday. I was all about the universal horror VHS releases, monstervision played a lot of black and white stuff at that time as well.

2018-03-28 05:26:09 UTC

my nephew was the same with Jurassic park, but i think he watched cars at least a thousand times in a year

2018-03-28 05:26:12 UTC

I was also a big fan of Arnold movies where he kills Predators or is an angry robot killing people.

2018-03-28 05:26:24 UTC

This was me at age four, I realized exactly what I was into.

2018-03-28 05:26:28 UTC

We need to round up the social scientists, who experimented with civilization as if it were a toy

2018-03-28 05:26:58 UTC

and do what with them?

2018-03-28 05:27:12 UTC

๐Ÿš

2018-03-28 05:27:18 UTC

^

2018-03-28 05:27:18 UTC

As a thirty year old, I'm still into the same stuff, but at a different level. I'm not going to watch wolf man five times a day everyday, but around halloween, I feel like a good afternoon would be watching frankensteins and wolf man movies.

2018-03-28 05:27:19 UTC

classic

2018-03-28 05:27:40 UTC

everything in moderation

2018-03-28 05:27:43 UTC

Exactly

2018-03-28 05:28:05 UTC

Same with three stooges, if I watch them too often, they'll lose their power.

2018-03-28 05:28:38 UTC

If I watch it too much, I'll learn the names of all the shorts and it just won't be the same. Same with the Looney toons

2018-03-28 05:28:54 UTC

I'd rather not study them and only pull those out when we really need some good laughs.

2018-03-28 05:30:14 UTC

I think this is the one where they're the nazis, not the one where Curly gets a picture of Hitler stuck to his ass that nazis have to salute everytime he bends down

2018-03-28 05:30:29 UTC

I found out recently that Hitler did indeed watch these and was FURIOUS in capital letters.

2018-03-28 05:30:47 UTC

He tried to put a hit out on the three stooges, how wild is that.

2018-03-28 05:30:51 UTC

lol

2018-03-28 05:31:05 UTC

i never knew that

2018-03-28 05:31:43 UTC

Imagine if you were a crazy dictator who hated jewish people, and three jewish people in America made a movie mocking you relentleesly

2018-03-28 05:32:03 UTC

In this short the stooges are "painters" who become dictators.

2018-03-28 05:32:18 UTC

wow thats great

2018-03-28 05:32:28 UTC

Moe Howard was not a foolish guy at all.

2018-03-28 05:32:42 UTC

he is my favorite stooge

2018-03-28 05:32:43 UTC

I read his book, the man was a kind hearted, well thought out guy.

2018-03-28 05:33:11 UTC

Curly is my favorite, something about his energy is just incredible.

2018-03-28 05:33:26 UTC

He would have trouble remembering lines, so he would slap himself or make whooping noises

2018-03-28 05:33:39 UTC

Eventually Moe said in the book, they just wrote "curly does something"

2018-03-28 05:33:55 UTC

lol

2018-03-28 05:34:03 UTC

story of my life

2018-03-28 05:34:15 UTC

curly is most peoples favorite, but i like how Moe is pissed off all the time

2018-03-28 05:34:28 UTC

Three Stooges never got respect in their day making shorts, it was only when TV came around ten years after they were done making shorts that they really got fans.

2018-03-28 05:34:45 UTC

TV needed content to play

2018-03-28 05:34:57 UTC

just like Looney Toons, the three stooges had this new medium and would be on all the time

2018-03-28 05:34:58 UTC

yeah i saw a documentary about them years ago, it was pretty sad, they had a hard life

2018-03-28 05:35:17 UTC

These shorts that the studios begrudginly had made and didn't pay the creators what they should've, finally broke out huge

2018-03-28 05:35:36 UTC

In the book Moe said he had to take over Curly and Larry's money

2018-03-28 05:35:59 UTC

Curly liked to be the center of the party and would buy bars full of people drinks, he was married a few times and lived a wild life.

2018-03-28 05:36:15 UTC

Larry liked to gamble. As soon as he got his check, he would rush to the dog track and gamble it all.

2018-03-28 05:36:35 UTC

Imagine in the future, media companies can just pay you for a 3d scan of your face, and some other guy his voice, and make whatever they want from the two.

2018-03-28 05:36:49 UTC

"in the future" you mean five years ago?

2018-03-28 05:37:02 UTC

well, I mean full bore
