2020-02-22 17:33:11 UTC

Alternatively if you want the authentic homeless look then use a 55gal steel drum

2020-02-22 17:33:25 UTC

Lol

2020-02-22 18:33:10 UTC

What is the insulation made of

2020-02-22 19:23:01 UTC

Any kind of porous, insulative material. Dirt will work, sand, cement

2020-02-22 19:23:22 UTC

compacted ash from the previous barrel fire

2020-02-22 19:23:35 UTC

Also this

2020-02-23 06:50:34 UTC

made on of those once, really fricken useful

2020-02-23 06:51:42 UTC

also, is rebar steel good for knives and stuff like that?

2020-02-23 06:54:41 UTC

The tensile strength is low, but it is carbon steel. I suppose it could work if it was worked right.

2020-02-23 06:54:41 UTC

Na leaf spring is better

2020-02-23 06:55:21 UTC

Leaf spring or coil spring are optimal imo

2020-02-23 07:27:55 UTC

do you guys have any good coal forge designs?

2020-02-24 00:32:26 UTC

great, easy to use resource for various knots :https://apps.apple.com/us/app/what-knot-to-do/id345618285

2020-02-24 13:11:19 UTC

what's a good bellow design for primitive blacksmithing? I want to try and forge with little to no electricity incase the power goes out, atleast I can still make knives and stuff like that

2020-02-24 13:25:08 UTC

> blow really hard

2020-02-24 13:29:42 UTC

tried that, passed out

2020-02-24 14:47:30 UTC

thanks

2020-02-27 04:17:33 UTC

repost since I can't find it in the server

2020-02-27 07:27:08 UTC

So I had a real weird idea a earlier that I need yโ€™alls help on. You know those mountable plastic fold out cup holders? What if you secured the back to molle straps to put on your plate carrier for the ultimate boog accessory. My question is what would you use to attach it? Iโ€™m sure rivets would work fine, but I also considered a nut and bolt with some loctite, then grinding the excess screw off what would you say?

2020-02-28 11:20:07 UTC

send pic of the cup holders

Like one of these bitches

2020-02-28 16:03:36 UTC

Okay but for what

2020-02-28 16:03:37 UTC

Like

2020-02-28 16:03:40 UTC

Actually holding a cup?

2020-02-28 16:03:45 UTC

Or something else

2020-02-28 16:03:46 UTC

Iโ€™m confused

2020-02-28 16:05:11 UTC

I think he actually wants to hold cups

2020-02-28 16:05:16 UTC

t. American

2020-02-28 16:09:52 UTC

Hell yeah. How else are you supposed to hold your Keystone after blasting a squad of soup dudes

2020-02-28 16:11:04 UTC

<:boomer:673420154214023189>

2020-02-28 16:23:53 UTC

What if you have to lay down

2020-02-28 16:57:48 UTC

You fold it back up flat.

2020-02-28 16:58:14 UTC

It needs to be modular

2020-02-28 16:58:27 UTC

Slideable off the rig and with a stand

2020-02-28 16:58:38 UTC

<:smug:676905802837262336>

2020-02-28 16:59:07 UTC

If it has molle straps it can be easily detached.

2020-02-28 17:15:08 UTC

well damn

2020-02-28 17:15:11 UTC

now i want one

2020-02-28 17:17:05 UTC

RIGHT?

2020-02-28 17:17:21 UTC

I might try bolt and nut first with loctite

2020-02-28 19:36:55 UTC

@Dais17 you can buy those 2 mm thick bolts and secure em to some webbing with some nuts and washers, cut off any excess if you have to. either that or use rivets with washers

2020-02-28 19:40:31 UTC

Yeah thatโ€™s what the plan was.

2020-02-28 19:40:44 UTC

aight

Dakota fire holes are excellent for stealth. Minimal light signature and super easy to snuff and run.

2020-03-04 16:04:03 UTC

arenโ€™t they better if the airflow is slanted rather than a 90 degree angle?

2020-03-04 16:05:31 UTC

If you can swing it, yeah. 90ยฐ is easier to dig though.

2020-03-05 16:43:51 UTC

Itโ€™s used in gunpowder, not much of an explosive on its own

2020-03-05 16:45:13 UTC

what type of shelter would be best for a deciduous forest with a decent amount of rain.
