This is bushcraft. Firearm talk of any kind goes in <#673086124406865920>
alright
can I post stuff about black smithing stuff here?
yea why not
Hell yeah
you can make this out of tin cans
Alternatively if you want the authentic homeless look then use a 55gal steel drum
Lol
What is the insulation made of
Any kind of porous, insulative material. Dirt will work, sand, cement
compacted ash from the previous barrel fire
Also this
made on of those once, really fricken useful
also, is rebar steel good for knives and stuff like that?
The tensile strength is low, but it is carbon steel. I suppose it could work if it was worked right.
Na leaf spring is better
Leaf spring or coil spring are optimal imo
do you guys have any good coal forge designs?
great, easy to use resource for various knots :https://apps.apple.com/us/app/what-knot-to-do/id345618285
what's a good bellow design for primitive blacksmithing? I want to try and forge with little to no electricity incase the power goes out, atleast I can still make knives and stuff like that
> blow really hard
tried that, passed out
thanks
repost since I can't find it in the server
So I had a real weird idea a earlier that I need yโalls help on. You know those mountable plastic fold out cup holders? What if you secured the back to molle straps to put on your plate carrier for the ultimate boog accessory. My question is what would you use to attach it? Iโm sure rivets would work fine, but I also considered a nut and bolt with some loctite, then grinding the excess screw off what would you say?
send pic of the cup holders

Like one of these bitches
Okay but for what
Like
Actually holding a cup?
Or something else
Iโm confused
I think he actually wants to hold cups
t. American
Hell yeah. How else are you supposed to hold your Keystone after blasting a squad of soup dudes
<:boomer:673420154214023189>
What if you have to lay down
You fold it back up flat.
It needs to be modular
Slideable off the rig and with a stand
<:smug:676905802837262336>
If it has molle straps it can be easily detached.
well damn
now i want one
RIGHT?
I might try bolt and nut first with loctite

@Dais17 you can buy those 2 mm thick bolts and secure em to some webbing with some nuts and washers, cut off any excess if you have to. either that or use rivets with washers
Yeah thatโs what the plan was.
aight
Dakota fire holes are excellent for stealth. Minimal light signature and super easy to snuff and run.
arenโt they better if the airflow is slanted rather than a 90 degree angle?
If you can swing it, yeah. 90ยฐ is easier to dig though.
I think thats the most useful thing you posted @Pepito - thanks! I've 2000lt tanks, only 2 hooked up. Will now get the others on the go.

Have you guys seen that one dude who made potassium nitrate from his piss?
I think youtube took it down
But it's still posted in the internet somewhere, channel name is cody's lab
Interesting.
Is that an explosive?
Itโs used in gunpowder, not much of an explosive on its own
