Nice

2020-04-05 00:48:44 UTC

On top of this, most of you already know your home pretty well, but learn to recognize what areas are susceptible to certain things, i.e. what part of your house would most likely be broken into during a home invasion, places where you have an advantage against a threat, where you should keep firearms, where you should sleep...etc. Learn angles and spots in your house that grant you an advantage against your threat, to them it is foreign, to you, it's home. Be ready to use any means to take that P.O.S. out, contact police but do not get fucked while you are doing it- call them, put them on speaker and throw it on the ground, explain the situation and your address and always stay on the line while you defend your self

2020-04-05 00:51:37 UTC

Also use the right fucking weapon. Do not pick up your ar-15 when you have a family sleeping in different rooms in your house. Ar-15 rounds shred through drywall like butter. Use a pistol round, in preferably a carbine. If you have no carbine, pistols are okay, but they're hard to master, use your homefield advantage and drop that mf

2020-04-05 00:52:06 UTC

Preach

2020-04-05 00:53:40 UTC

Iโ€™d youโ€™re lonely AR-15s are best

2020-04-05 00:53:41 UTC

If

2020-04-05 00:53:51 UTC

My mom doesnโ€™t know I bought my carbine lol

2020-04-05 00:53:52 UTC

If you want to fuck your neighbors haha

2020-04-05 00:53:57 UTC

My walls are concrete

2020-04-05 00:53:59 UTC

Theyd be fineee

2020-04-05 00:54:44 UTC

If you have no other option ofc use your ar but place your shots well and try to end it in 2-3 shots

2020-04-05 00:54:59 UTC

Also if you have an upstairs use it

2020-04-05 00:55:10 UTC

it's very ez to hold a floor

2020-04-05 00:55:54 UTC

what kind of carbine do you have @kmartwaffles

2020-04-05 00:56:11 UTC

A ruger pc9

2020-04-05 00:56:35 UTC

With a chassis system and pistol grip

2020-04-05 00:56:52 UTC

nice, looks like a decent weapon for home def

2020-04-05 00:57:42 UTC

i'd say a sig mpx would be a good choice but it's kinda pricey

2020-04-05 00:58:29 UTC

Yea I bought the gun, a sling, a soft case, and 150 rounds for 715$

2020-04-05 00:59:16 UTC

That's a good price. everyone should invest in one eventually

2020-04-05 01:00:46 UTC

another thing if you waking up chances are you might be drowsy you might not be all there until adrenaline starts pumping so you could also think ab a 410 shot gun as well

2020-04-05 01:01:59 UTC

haha shotguns are okay preferably if you don't have family

2020-04-05 01:02:07 UTC

it can do the trick but eh

2020-04-05 01:02:58 UTC

i think .45 or 9mm HP's are the optimal option IMO

2020-04-05 01:03:32 UTC

I prefer a shotgun and thatโ€™s what I have for at night Bc I sleep in the basement and everyone else is upstairs so I would be the only one on ground so there isnโ€™t a worry ab cross fire

2020-04-05 01:03:49 UTC

There is a judge upstairs and my 12

2020-04-05 01:03:59 UTC

The 12 is with me

2020-04-05 01:04:37 UTC

that's good. you already know this but identify who's comin down those stairs before you take their kneecaps off haha

2020-04-05 01:05:05 UTC

Iโ€™d rather die than kill a family member

2020-04-05 01:06:57 UTC

in your position I'd say, depending on circumstances, to try and gather your family down there, one with the judge and on the phone with police, while you're clearing your house or waiting for the threat to enter your crosshair, and remember to rack that shotgun as loud as possible after he's in your house, it's very possible to scare a intruder away just by doing that

2020-04-05 01:07:17 UTC

Nah I also have my 1100 so imma just run around firing if someoneโ€™s hit they get hit๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

2020-04-05 01:07:27 UTC

shiii

2020-04-05 01:07:33 UTC

light it up

2020-04-05 01:38:21 UTC

Get the AR with the giggle switch

2020-04-05 01:38:43 UTC

Obviously

2020-04-05 01:49:42 UTC

if someone enters my house i don't want to scare them away

2020-04-05 01:49:47 UTC

there's no fun in that

2020-04-05 01:50:47 UTC

Fr

2020-04-05 01:51:42 UTC

Lol ok shoot body shots with the .22

2020-04-05 01:52:09 UTC

Make em feel

2020-04-05 01:55:52 UTC

highkey want an m134 chambered in .22

2020-04-05 01:56:04 UTC

imagine being able to magdump 1k rounds for $30

2020-04-05 01:56:10 UTC

You know you can actually make one lol

2020-04-05 01:56:18 UTC

yes, i am lazy

2020-04-05 15:03:13 UTC

im thinking about getting a 410 pistol for a side arm when im clearing my house "the Judge"

2020-04-05 15:03:29 UTC

it also shoots .44 i think so thats pretty cool

2020-04-05 15:03:38 UTC

Iโ€™d just throw .45 long in it

2020-04-05 15:03:48 UTC

Old school colt rounds

2020-04-05 15:03:51 UTC

yea

2020-04-05 15:03:53 UTC

The judge is kinda for fudds bro

2020-04-05 15:04:00 UTC

Not necessarily

2020-04-05 15:04:12 UTC

Itโ€™s an interesting concept

2020-04-05 15:04:16 UTC

Imo a glock or any other sidearm youโ€™re comfortable with is better

2020-04-05 15:04:22 UTC

Yeah

2020-04-05 15:04:23 UTC

But whatever you think is best

2020-04-05 15:04:28 UTC

But super underared for defense

2020-04-05 15:04:31 UTC

It is interesting

2020-04-05 15:04:46 UTC

Home defense is an alright idea ig, anything further is maybe pushing it

2020-04-05 15:05:32 UTC

with a 410 tho, that clears hallways lmao

2020-04-05 15:05:56 UTC

would hurt like a bitch too if you got hit by that

2020-04-05 15:06:11 UTC

plus coming out a pistol, that would be pretty loud i assume

2020-04-05 15:06:23 UTC

The .45 will fuck someone up good, and I would run slugs, the buckshot has been proven to spread FAST

2020-04-05 15:06:37 UTC

decent

2020-04-05 15:06:40 UTC

Cus it has like a 3 in barrell

2020-04-05 15:06:50 UTC

But again, for a hallway, perfect

2020-04-05 15:07:03 UTC

My dad has one and itโ€™s fun to shoot

2020-04-05 15:07:08 UTC

Doesnโ€™t kick too bad

2020-04-05 15:07:11 UTC

yea

2020-04-05 15:07:39 UTC

ive been looking at drilling the third hole in my minecraft AR for a while now

2020-04-05 15:07:46 UTC

that would clear a hallway lmao

2020-04-05 15:08:05 UTC

Nah the recoil is good and the mobility are very useful

2020-04-05 15:08:12 UTC

get like a 60 round mag that doesnt jam and your gold

2020-04-05 15:09:24 UTC

I wonder if I can use the string or rubber band on my Minecraft rifle

2020-04-05 16:38:00 UTC

i won't lie, and i'm sure you're all gonna laugh or whatever, but i normally keep a .22lr rifle loaded and ready since it has no recoil, no ear-deafening blasts, and it takes magazines. that said, my EDC of .40sw and .38 revolvers do lay around close-by since they're EDC.

for the moment, because of my worry about people going crazy during the coronavirus thing if the power gets shutdown or whatever, i have upgraded the HD to an AR-15 with weapon light, holosun 503g with ACSS, primary arms gen 4 flip-up 3x magnifier, iron sights, and vertical grip. i figured that if people get into "roving bands", i'll be more likely to have home invaders with more gear than usual

2020-04-05 16:39:44 UTC

I really want to get a Remington 870 for my HD shotgun

2020-04-05 16:40:01 UTC

i think that would also be solid. i've got 2 of those

2020-04-05 16:40:48 UTC

Yeah and theyโ€™re no that expensive tbh. Like a synthetic one is like $550

2020-04-05 16:42:47 UTC

I like .22 for HD, how many criminals wear plates tbh

2020-04-05 16:43:15 UTC

a synthetic one? do you mean plastic or just the Express in general? i bought one of my 870s used as a deer/field combo for 450 when new they were like 550-600 (i was less-knowledgeable with gun pricing and got taken a little there but not too bad). then i bought another Express from PSA for under 300 (maybe it was 250?) when they had an amazing deal going on, and it's a newer one after Remington fixed their issues with QC on the finish

2020-04-05 16:44:32 UTC

Yeah that was me trying to recall but I just checked it out and thereโ€™s models for Under $550

2020-04-05 16:44:50 UTC

that one that was a deer/field combo has been upgraded with a magpul sga stock/forend, weapon camera (for deer/turkey hunting vids), a 3rd barrel with cantilever mount and sig sauer 1-4x tango4 mrad, and a custom spray paint job that makes it disappear in the woods

2020-04-05 16:45:32 UTC

i've taken deer on it with open sights at 110 meters. shotguns are very capable

2020-04-05 16:46:17 UTC

@Vin_Farren yeah, i figured nearly 0 criminals wore plates since i don't think most of them could plan ahead like that

2020-04-05 16:46:45 UTC

@Jevans0119 well if you're talking about something nicer than the Express model, 500'ish probably isn't bad

2020-04-05 16:48:58 UTC

Personally mine will be a 9mm Carbine as my home defense, just because they small

2020-04-05 16:49:23 UTC

And 9mm is cheap, plus wont go through a wall and hurt someone if I miss

2020-04-05 16:49:29 UTC

don't blame you. i don't own one because i want it in .40sw and PCCs are generally expensive.

2020-04-05 16:50:03 UTC

Yeah my carry pistol is gonna be a .40, because I really enjoy the caliber

2020-04-05 16:50:42 UTC

I just really like the idea of having a shotgun for home defense

2020-04-05 16:50:53 UTC

same. i have personally not noticed recoil differences between 9 and 40. they supposedly exist, and i'm sure they do, but i have some guns that are the same model in both calibers, and i can't personally feel the difference

2020-04-05 16:51:06 UTC

Just make sure you wear some kind of hearing protection Jevans

2020-04-05 16:52:12 UTC

I can feel it in very short barrel pistols, but I dont enjoy carrying those anyway so it's aight

2020-04-05 16:53:19 UTC

Yeah youโ€™re definitely right about that, that would be a nightmare in a HD scenario and Iโ€™m deaf bc of incompetence

2020-04-05 16:53:58 UTC

my main EDC when i'm wearing "proper clothes" is an MP40 Shield 2.0 with streamlight tlr-6 laser/light (only got it with laser because there was a deal making it same price as light-only). i don't have it in 9mm to compare, but possibly it's a little snappier

2020-04-05 16:54:49 UTC

in these times when i'm always chilling at home in shorts (or nothing), i throw a Ruger LCR .357 (with .38 spl) in a pocket if i want to go on a walk around the block

2020-04-05 16:58:20 UTC

So you can shoot that annoying kid who hits you with their bike

2020-04-05 16:59:39 UTC

I'm thinking a 9mm MPX for something small

2020-04-05 17:01:16 UTC

Or just attack them with my fucking longsword

2020-04-05 17:02:59 UTC

My edc consists of keys(house and hidden handcuff keys), wallet, phone and knife.
