@everyone Google has not only banned my YouTube channel, they also tried to disable my Google Account period (it appears to be working now). They claim that my YouTube channel was banned for "spam, scams, and deceptive practices." Keep in mind that I only had ONE strike on my channel. I've submitted an appeal to restore my account and will keep you updated.

@everyone YouTube has restored my channel. I'm not taking any chances so I'm going to begin mass-migrating my videos and livestreams to BitChute today. Additionally, as I mentioned yesterday, I won't be doing a stream today due to a prior social engagement.

@everyone This is bizarre: while my YouTube channel is back and the videos on it can be accessed publicly again, when I try to log into YouTube, I'm told my account has been "permanently disabled." I can access my channel via the YouTube app with no issues. I also got a sudden wave of copyright claims on some of my old videos (including one video being pulled offline altogether; no strike, though).

@everyone There won't be a stream today because I'm drowning in work at my job and need to get clear of some of it. Fair warning that I may not be able to stream later in the week either.

To be perfectly honest, I've been seriously burned out by the attacks on my channel. With YouTube gone, I've lost around 80 to 90 percent of my live audience and virtually all of my streaming income. Despite my admonishments for people to follow me on Twitch, only a fraction of my audience has done so, and the YouTube premieres of my Twitch streams get fewer views compared to when I could stream on YouTube. I get far fewer Streamlabs tips than Super Chats (due to the smaller live audience as well as the fact that Streamlabs is more cumbersome), and I also have to do more work per stream as well (since I have to upload the video to YouTube after the fact). Basically, I'm spending much more time doing streams for a much smaller audience for considerably less money, and I have difficulty justifying this when I have tons of other things on my plate.

I don't plan on quitting, but I may be reducing Matt Forney Live to just once per week or moving it to different days of the week, at least until my strike expires at the end of next month.
