ive got it on a test world right now, but should be able to revert it to the old one and still have the new ores generating

one of the most helpful mods i've put on is JEI - Just enough items, which tells you how to get items and what they can be used for

New ores. WAILA (what am i looking at) at the top of the screen shows what blocks are

1. Download and install Forge - http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.12.2.html

2. Download modpack - https://www.mediafire.com/file/35d375310rh3dpz/StormServer_Mods_200122.zip/file

3. Unzip modpack to Users/x/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/mods

4. Open Minecraft and run the version of Forge you just installed "1.12.2 - 14.23.5.2847"

5. If performance is chugging or loading takes too long, allocate 4 - 6 GB of ram in the minecraft launcher. Default is likely at 2

-Open your Minecraft client (Java version).
-Select the Installations tab towards the top of the launcher.
-Hover over your desired profile/Minecraft version, then select the button with the three dots on the right.
-Select Edit from the drop-down menu. A modal will appear and More Options will be available in the bottom-left. Select this.
-In the "JVM arguments" field, change -Xmx1G to -Xmx#G , replace # with the amount of RAM you'd like to allocate to Minecraft in GB (do not modify any other text).
-Select the green Save button and you're done!*

I don't think anyone can, the owner of the server was trying to upload the server file but as it was large it took a lot of time and I dont think I have the link anywhere, if it was uploaded

I haven't tried that one. Sevtech is good too. I'd be open to whatever, so long as people are actually going to play on it. I noticed a few people have actually been logging in recently so thats cool

buildcraft, biomes o'plenty, immersive engineering, thaumcraft, industrial craft, tinkers, etc etc

have you tried sevtech? it has IE and builcraft as well, but a built in progression system where you start with practically less than nothing

ill consider revelation though.. would kind of suck to wipe the current map but i dont think anybody has done much other than myself. who is Officer?

I tried Revelation and didn't like it. I find that having the custom modpack lacks direction.

OK I have finally decided and I'm changing the server to SevTech and just leaving it that way. I should be on fairly regularly to help.

In order to play, all you need is the Twitch app from Twitch.com. You run Minecraft from that app rather than your normal launcher

Once you have the twitch app:

1. Click on Mods > Minecraft > Browse Modpacks > Sevtech Ages > Download ( make sure it is version: SevTech: Ages - 3.1.2 Hotfix 1)

2. Click the yellow user icon in the top right of the Twitch app > Settings > Minecraft > Java Settings and drag the scroll bar to at least 6000 MB

3. Click Mods > Minecraft > My Modpacks and press Play
