I actually do think they'd benefit with having someone to help with the work load. Gathering stories, making video clips, finding some juicy hoax hate, maybe some cringe. It would take someone with a somewhat open schedule

Jumping in this old conversation. They should just add a channel (or channels) on here for story submission and use us for free, I've seen other discord servers do this. I do wish they would get someone to help with the call in show. The person could make the sure the caller is ready. Things like mic working, actually present, but also they could get the next person's question or comment and send a message to blonde and Matt so they have an idea where the next caller is going. Matt is pretty reistent

as for the call system, the easiest way to do it i think is to make a hidden voice channel under <#360853375836880897> that only the scanner can see, the scanner would move people from the waiting room into the scanning room, they have about a minute to respond before being moved off the list (e.g. they are afk), if they don't respond then grab the next person, just verify what the person wants to talk about, etc, and then maybe there is a special channel or messaging window matt can keep short tabbed that the scanner can post the topic to

though honestly verifying the topic can be a bit arduous

i think the most benefit from such a system is to simply avoid people who aren't there
