Israel fucked up its chance

2019-09-05 17:00:02 UTC

2019-09-05 17:22:15 UTC

@Sven Brender and the antichrist will make his throne in the third temple of jerusalem

2019-09-05 17:26:40 UTC

@Veritas chr*stian

2019-09-05 17:27:02 UTC

2019-09-05 17:27:11 UTC

@Riley explain yourself

2019-09-05 17:27:15 UTC
2019-09-05 17:27:30 UTC

Honestly I'm down

2019-09-05 17:27:36 UTC

2019-09-05 17:28:03 UTC

there did it

2019-09-05 17:28:13 UTC

@Riley well fuck you too

2019-09-05 17:28:29 UTC

Christians are low IQ

2019-09-05 17:28:36 UTC

no u

2019-09-05 17:28:41 UTC

superstitious

2019-09-05 17:28:44 UTC

also

2019-09-05 17:28:52 UTC

you do realise a lot of early scientists were christian

2019-09-05 17:28:59 UTC

No shit

2019-09-05 17:28:59 UTC

charles darwin

2019-09-05 17:29:00 UTC

Christians mostly stay Christian because their parents condition them into it and they never ever question it

2019-09-05 17:29:02 UTC

isaac newton

2019-09-05 17:29:13 UTC

Charles Darwin was not a Christian

2019-09-05 17:29:36 UTC

JUST
BECAUSE
A PERSON
THAT WAS INTELLIGENT
WAS CHRISTIAN
THAT DOESN'T MEAN
THAT CHRISTIANITY IS LOGICAL

2019-09-05 17:30:07 UTC

@Riley he was though

2019-09-05 17:30:08 UTC

Just because a person that was intelligent was Christian, that doesn't mean that Christianity is logical

2019-09-05 17:30:11 UTC

he called himself an agnostic

2019-09-05 17:30:16 UTC

or at least a theist

2019-09-05 17:30:27 UTC
2019-09-05 17:30:32 UTC

idk why Christians play this game

2019-09-05 17:32:59 UTC

It's so fucking illogical to assume that

2019-09-05 17:33:07 UTC

It really disproves their own point

2019-09-05 17:33:16 UTC

darwin was christian though

a quote from him talking about how he used to get to church

2019-09-05 18:11:00 UTC

i am not christian but they did contribute to the preservation of knowledge through monks etc

2019-09-05 18:11:43 UTC

thats not to discount the retarded shit they have done ofc

2019-09-05 18:18:33 UTC

from what i know most Christians are of average intelligence with the exception of Episcopalians which are even smarter than jews and atheists

2019-09-05 18:22:13 UTC

@Veritas How does that prove that Christianity is logical? It's appealing to authority. Today you'd be able to say the opposite by listing off the vast amount of scientists and what not who are Atheists, yet that too would be irrelevant to whether Atheism is logical.

2019-09-05 18:23:11 UTC

If you want to find out if Christianity is logical or not, you have to make your case directly, not indirectly

2019-09-05 18:29:40 UTC

Like for example; Christianity is not based in fact beyond the historical evidence of people claiming that it is true. Today Christians are proud to admit that their belief in Christianity is based on faith itself, and not from looking at the evident reality of the world and from that make a conclusion on the world. For example the moral teachings are said to be based on God who created nature, yet we do not have evidence that anything exists above nature, and the morality that is taught goes against human nature (like forgiving and not seeking revenge), who are supposed to be Gods creations. These natural morals are also not even consistent between groups of people, so why should a universal set of morals that is not based in human morality be right for humans?

2019-09-05 18:33:59 UTC

is their an empirical argument for Christianity?
tbh ive never even heard a logical one nvm empirical

2019-09-05 18:34:49 UTC

because human morals are corrupt

2019-09-05 18:34:51 UTC
2019-09-05 18:35:02 UTC

what would be a better set of instructions for humanity

2019-09-05 18:35:12 UTC

teaching people to be kind and forgiving to one another for their mistakes

2019-09-05 18:35:27 UTC

or getting revenge or lashing out at small mistakes or injustices

2019-09-05 18:35:30 UTC

it is human nature to lash out

2019-09-05 18:35:38 UTC

but that lashing out always causes more harm than not

2019-09-05 18:35:50 UTC

whereas forgiveness causes the least harm and eventually leads to it ceasing

2019-09-05 18:36:04 UTC

a historical analogue would be anglo saxon blood fueds

2019-09-05 18:43:10 UTC

what makes these morals corrupt? Because God says so? Youโ€™ll have to prove his authority and existance for that to be the case. The truth is, if evidence is to be believed, that these behavious have through natural selection evolved in humans, as they made our ancestors more likely to survive and reproduce. The entire function of humans, or any organism, is in fact to survive so that you can reproduce. Even the mind we use to question our functions to do so exists for the purpose of meeting those ends. Why would it be better to go against them?

2019-09-05 18:43:26 UTC

natural selection is broken in the human world

2019-09-05 18:43:35 UTC

human morals are greedy and self centred

2019-09-05 18:43:42 UTC

our ancestors had limited resources

2019-09-05 18:43:49 UTC

whoever had more stuff was more likely to survive

2019-09-05 18:43:57 UTC

in the modern world we dont need that

2019-09-05 18:44:27 UTC

those corrupt morals of our ancestors caused more suffering than ever

2019-09-05 18:44:40 UTC

they will only serve to kill millions in the modern world

2019-09-05 18:44:46 UTC

not million

2019-09-05 18:44:48 UTC

billions

2019-09-05 18:49:41 UTC

while greed and self-centredness are human morals, i disagree that they are dominant. They may be in some people groups, but the majority of the native europeans are very alturistic as shown by behavioural studies and the evident fact that we all have high-trust societies. But should we humans right ourselves to fit into the modern world, or should the modern world compliment humans? Which is more just, healthier, and will make humans better at surviving and reproducing?

2019-09-05 18:51:19 UTC

the only natural laws are order, hierarchy, power
our morals should uphold these things tbh not some meek notion of holiness or forgiveness

2019-09-05 18:51:34 UTC

@Deleted User christian morals do follow order and heirarchy

2019-09-05 18:51:59 UTC

christian morals are dependent on the christian faith

2019-09-05 18:52:43 UTC

yes, it is based on faith and not truth.

2019-09-05 18:52:59 UTC

to me and other christians that faith is truth

2019-09-05 18:53:07 UTC

to a point but taken to its conclusion it will lead to a violation of natural law through its institutional corruption and universalism

2019-09-05 18:53:26 UTC

natural law is flawed

2019-09-05 18:53:32 UTC

natural law is anarchistic

2019-09-05 18:54:01 UTC

falsehood

2019-09-05 18:54:04 UTC

all other law is based on natural law

2019-09-05 18:54:09 UTC

so it is also flawed

2019-09-05 18:54:13 UTC

by inhertance

2019-09-05 18:54:15 UTC

Also, Christianity does not have a natural hierarchy. All Christians are taught that people should be the same forgiving and repenting people, which does not promote the strong to dominate and lead the weak

2019-09-05 18:54:22 UTC

just to overthrow yourself

2019-09-05 18:54:22 UTC

nature is extremely hierarchal and ordered

2019-09-05 18:54:43 UTC

@Deleted User as i said

2019-09-05 18:54:49 UTC

christian morals are dependent on christian faith

2019-09-05 18:55:00 UTC

therefore those who follow christian morals have order and heirarchy

2019-09-05 18:55:11 UTC

the heirarchy is more simple aswell

2019-09-05 18:55:19 UTC

with piety replacing power

2019-09-05 18:56:01 UTC

that would only be true if Christian faith is order and hierarchy, which is why i explained that it isnโ€™t

2019-09-05 18:56:11 UTC

how does turning the other cheek embody hierarchy and order?

2019-09-05 18:56:17 UTC

christian faith is though

2019-09-05 18:56:24 UTC

its the belief that god is above everything

2019-09-05 18:56:31 UTC

and if you follow the laws of god

2019-09-05 18:56:35 UTC

you are above those who dont

2019-09-05 18:56:47 UTC

false hierarchy then

2019-09-05 18:56:53 UTC

manufactured

2019-09-05 18:57:02 UTC

as Christianity teaches that god gave us the earth to rule over and to take care of
