If they're going through it now, you should call the police, right now. Not soon, *now.*

ill try to tet 911 and see what happens
all i know is i cant talk they'll hear me
You can text 911 now I think.
Introduced for exactly that reason
I think. IT might depend on state.
you have any idea what a bundle of dope is?
they lost 7 of them
and thats why they came in my room
No wait. Sorry, That option is going to exist but doesn't launch until next month. You can't text 911 yet.
Ugh, just had a telemarketer call.
I've been getting about 15 of those a week. I've just stopped answering my phone if it's not in my contacts.
I've got no idea how they got my number. I'm on the DoNotCall list so they're violating federal law in calling.
I rarely get a call, so I answered, it was from my cell/internet provider so I listened for a minute or so, but then I was just like, man, holding a phone to my face is just way beyond the level of effort I am willing to put into this activity, so I just hung up.
telemarketers are actually demons
fact
I am still on my parent's plan. I offered four times to find my own cheaper alternative I'd pay for but they refused. I still have an older phone that doesn't get apps. I'd like a newer one that does so I could get an app that automatically blocks calls like this. A lot of them are on lists of known spam numbers that get submitted to various blocking apps.
I have a flip phone, no apps, but telemarketing isn't really that big of a thing in Japan, at least from my experience, so I rarely get calls.
A sliding keyboard phone. Which, I really like. I just wish they still made them but with modern apps made for it. I hate this obsession with huge phones, which are not portable and are extremely fragile, with difficult to use touch screens that are no where near as responsive or as reliable for texting as actual buttons.
Sliding keyboard smartphones are rare. But they exist.
I very rarely even carry my phone out with me.
There's like... 7 keyboard phones available on the market now in the US. And one of them is the next model up from mine and still not a smartphone. I don't care about most of that junk, I just want better on-phone call blocking.
Because the government's DoNotCall list seems to have only made it worse. It filter out the more annoying-but-harmless telemarketers and left a void for the true scammers and criminals to take their place. Everyone single one of these is a criminal on the other end trying to commit some kind of fraud at your expense.
Are you in Canada?
US
When I was in the states I used answer unknown numbers in Japanese just to mess with them.
The only real option I can see here is the BlackBerry Priv.
It's expensive.
Too much for something so fragile.
Phones these days, it's like they're made out of tissue paper and tin foil.
I've had my flip phone for a few years now. It's got scratches and scrapes and a little bit of broken plastic here and there, but it's still fully functional. I hope flip phones never go away completey. I tend to be the type that will go to put my phone on the bed and it will like accidentally bounce, hit the wall, rebound and knock the cat in the head or something.
They did go away. They're not made anymore. And I hate that. they were a great design. Durable and reliable. They could take a beating and still work
NOOOOOoooooooo!!!
Modern phones are all basically just tablets. Huge pieces of extremely fragile plastic that breaks with the lightest touch.
my phone has been through a lot
no cracks though
You drop a modern phone from knee-height. 40% chance it's going to break. Higher if it's a harder floor.
just scratches
mine is moderm
it's been thrown
dropped
everything
Everything in the new ones s just more and more crammed into a shell that's becoming thinner and more fragile.
Yall wanna see a new acquisition of mine?
no
Some new models have had trouble with warping and bending from their own heat.
i have a Samsung
Sha-bam
Avoid phones from Apple. They're glorified status symbols. You're basically just paying for the name there. They are among the worst made devices you can get. They're made to look pretty on the shelf and out of the box but they're among the most fragile things you can buy. They're extremely poorly made and they're the ones most likely to break and they have terrible warrenties. Pretty good chance you're going to be blamed fro the damage unless you shelled out more money for an additional warranty plan.
I have an au Gratina phone.
Even if they don't break on you, they'll get scratched up very badly within days.
DAYS, not weeks.
