There's a difference between clinical depression and just going through a sad patch

We don't want to be sad, and there doesn't necessarily need to be something That triggers it

You can try to help yourself by making it better but it's never 100% gone

Trust me, mate. Depression can happen because of many factors. Loneliness, bullying, etc. And what the hell are you supposed to do? Not everyone can do something about their depression, some people are just so deep in it.

It's literally impossible to be "depressed" for 2 weeks. The word "Depressed" or "depression" have pretty much been de-sensitised by the media and YouTube and social media and the like where you can throw it into any situation that just means sad.
