I highly recommend the trades to anybody, you don't have to spend years and throusands of dollars to learn and it will give you a comfortable paycheck

Howdy, went to school for auto, diesel etc. Decided I'd like it more as a hobby and started working on a big potato farm, just kinda rolled with it I guess, been 12 years ago already.

i want to go into electronics as well so i could set up a couple of solar panels

Diesel techs have a hard job man. I would not enjoy working on giant trucks.
