they have a little basketball goal in their cage. and it has a goal and then a chain ..with a ball on the end. they pick the ball up..and put it in the basket and then take it back out.. and do it again. LOL

I think they are mad at me..because i have the lights still on.. and tv on.

Before the Grey had a mate, (basketball, so cute) it got loose, so there were about 10 or more of us chasing it down. It wasnt use to long flight, so it would tire out, until, thankfully it was caught over a mile away. That was close.

My understanding, not having had any birds of my own, is that you want one raised by hand-feeding. I guess their beaks can take fingers off.

Camp Meeting. They are all over the southwest, so they have them in Arizona as well. You gotta go to one of those. Wish I could tell you where or how, but I remember one in AZ in near hwy 260, cant tell you exactly where. There may be others. Old time preaching and singing and Bible studies, three meals a day and everybody camps out. Some people just follow the camp meetings all summer long!

I cant imagine so much travel as a child and growing up with Godly parents, giving your life to Christ at 5 years old. I did have a childhood friend who did the same, very young when he accepted Christ.

I am grateful for the way I was raised.

My parents did such a great job of raising us.. to love the Lord. We have had hard times.. but God was always the center of everything we did. We prayed as a family. We studied the bible as a family. I miss those days. ahhhh.. .I feel sentimental.

No reason why we should not all have been raised in the same manner . I had some of my grandfather's Bibles. The laity provided the teachings long ago. Incredible stuff.

I lost a house in Cali, so before I left, I made sure members of the family would take good care of them. I just need the Bible and I did the caretaking as long as I dared.

Meaning I just need any old Bible to do what I need to do. Those were special though.

It was, but in retrospect I will probably be better off than most or all of my family, financially. I dont require very much and Im a saver. I know how to handle money and Im not greedy. I hope I ca nhelp lots of others.

Yeah, but it wasnt worth more. Ive done alot to it. The point is, young people have no one to teach them the things that are truly important. Too many artificial pressures in life. With proper upbringing, they never experience that false perspective in life.

I would like to think that if we live in an age like that of old testament times, when God did incredible overt acts to ally His People to Him, that I would be only somewhat amazed, but not at all surprised. I think I have that kind of Faith.

Unsettled.. can be good I suppose..because maybe we are looking to serve. The bad side of being unsettled.. is discontentment. No matter what God brings.. or opportunities or blessings.. we find fault with.

We are living in a very unusual time when evil doers will do signs and wonders too. Look at the internet, medicine, financia systems, space technology...

sometimes we look for something bigger..and not realizing that God is using us just where we are.

I feel content at all times, in all circumstances. I have self assurance, remembering where it all comes from. Of that I have no doubts. I seek contentment in whatever state I find myself . God has Blessed me.
