I think going door-to-door can backfire

advantages of posters:

-anonymity
-convey whatever you want
-place whatever you want

you could have a single person go door to door and talk to about 8 families in a few hours or go in the middle of the night and plant a ton of posters which thousands will see

When it comes to at work communications, talk politics in small circles. People in your circle will naturally go to their other circles and spread what you said. Works perfectly for blue collar trades like jobsites, worked well for me during 2016 campaigns, turned a divided right-wing job between Trump, Lying Cruz, Guacabowl Merchent, and Little Marco into one that stood behind Trump. Use common ground as a way to make them want to lean your way; thankfully I had it easy with "need to unite against hillary" in 2016, but with 2018 around the corner I need to find new common ground behind local canidates

As for those stuck in college, make sure any conservative friends of your are registered and make sure they vote even if it's like my case and it's literally 1 person, it's worth it.
