Everything currently

2021-02-15 20:20:13 UTC

Nice do you use any plant fertilizer or do you just let them grow

2021-02-15 20:20:30 UTC

As seedlings they donโ€™t need any fertilizer

2021-02-15 20:20:52 UTC

But when they get older and bigger then yeah

2021-02-15 20:21:03 UTC

Ok now what do you use

2021-02-15 20:21:39 UTC

I have some 6-10-10 for my cucumbers

2021-02-15 20:21:52 UTC

And some 5-1-1 for my tomatoes

2021-02-15 20:22:04 UTC

I have no idea what that is

2021-02-15 20:22:15 UTC

Look it up it should say

2021-02-15 20:22:34 UTC

I am going to be the ruler of this chat

2021-02-15 20:23:23 UTC

Tomatoโ€™s last year from early spring to harvest. That basket was only about a 1/4 of the tomatoes.

2021-02-15 20:26:42 UTC

They take up to much room

2021-02-15 20:26:49 UTC

I did manly veggies last year but Iโ€™m doing a herb/flower bed this year. I love watermelons and cucumbers tho. I make pickles every year

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/810945918123376650/810970605306380328/image0.jpg

2021-02-15 20:28:05 UTC

Arizona gang

2021-02-15 20:28:24 UTC

Im up in ny the soil is so hard to grow in

2021-02-15 20:28:36 UTC

It takes years to get it ready

2021-02-15 20:29:13 UTC

I like chamomile, mints (keep those stinkers contained) catnip, oregano, even milk thistle lol

2021-02-15 20:29:32 UTC

Lol

2021-02-15 20:29:42 UTC

Iโ€™m in CA. Things grow well but I have to compete with the redwoods for sun time

2021-02-15 20:29:55 UTC

Ah ok

2021-02-15 20:30:07 UTC

Thats sucks and you cant even cut them down either

2021-02-15 20:30:07 UTC

And mint.... its like a weed. It grows EVERYWHERE

2021-02-15 20:30:39 UTC

Same with lemon balm. If you put it anywhere near other plants it attacks

2021-02-15 20:30:46 UTC

Yeah

2021-02-15 20:30:54 UTC

The root system takes up everything ugh

2021-02-15 20:31:00 UTC

We have mint plants from like 5 years ago

2021-02-15 20:31:09 UTC

We burned them

2021-02-15 20:31:21 UTC

We put **napalm** on them

2021-02-15 20:31:33 UTC

We dug that whole area up

2021-02-15 20:31:41 UTC

Still here

2021-02-15 20:31:42 UTC

But I Love fresh mint tea

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/810945918123376650/810971620570169444/image0.jpg

2021-02-15 20:31:47 UTC

Yeah they are crazy

2021-02-15 20:31:51 UTC

If you want to deal with the roots better take thick paper and line certain areas with it if you want to keep certain things

2021-02-15 20:31:57 UTC

True

2021-02-15 20:32:15 UTC

I just pot them. I donโ€™t want to fight them

2021-02-15 20:32:23 UTC

Have you ever had spruce tea

2021-02-15 20:32:33 UTC

Yus!

2021-02-15 20:33:43 UTC

Iโ€™m hoping for a good turnout this year

2021-02-15 20:33:53 UTC

Last year sucked tbh

2021-02-15 20:33:57 UTC

We have alot of spruce here mix it with some honey a little piece of crushed garlic some bourbon and also put it in with your coffee in the morning the chances of you getting sick drop if you have a cup daily

2021-02-15 20:34:31 UTC

Echinacea, elderberry and lemon are my favorite tho. They clear up my asthma real quick

2021-02-15 20:34:34 UTC

I planted 400 onion bulbs in my moms front yard and they all popped up at once

2021-02-15 20:34:49 UTC

Lol

2021-02-15 20:34:50 UTC

Berries are hard to grow here

2021-02-15 20:35:02 UTC

It gets too hot

2021-02-15 20:35:05 UTC

And too sunny

2021-02-15 20:35:06 UTC

What is echinacea and elder berries

2021-02-15 20:35:24 UTC

Iโ€™m starting my fist elderberry this year. Berries do TOO well over here.

2021-02-15 20:35:32 UTC

Lol

2021-02-15 20:35:44 UTC

Plant fruit trees and you can put berries under them

2021-02-15 20:35:49 UTC

True

2021-02-15 20:35:58 UTC

And fruit trees do well up in Tucson

2021-02-15 20:36:12 UTC

But keep them trimmed or you will have a massive problem

2021-02-15 20:36:22 UTC

True

2021-02-15 20:37:02 UTC

And berries seem to love acidity and so do tomatoes so if you have a firepit put the ashes over the ground and roots

2021-02-15 20:37:37 UTC

We have a lot of ash lol

2021-02-15 20:37:45 UTC

Elderberry is tasty and really good for the immune system and helps with the flu. DO NOT eat unripe berries. And Echinacea is a flower that also helps the immune system. They are in a lot of โ€œstay wellโ€ teas

2021-02-15 20:37:50 UTC

From burning all the mesquite trees

2021-02-15 20:38:15 UTC

The soil here is atrocious

2021-02-15 20:38:25 UTC

Sandy clay with nothing in it

2021-02-15 20:38:45 UTC

My area just went though a wildfire so a lot of the soil is burnt up

2021-02-15 20:39:05 UTC

They are cutting down Redwoods everywhere cuz they keep falling
