Would you be interested in forming a think-tank within the organization for idea building on the topic of recruitment. I'm looking for a very specific personality type between FIVE different men before I have a meeting with Thomas on making it official.
Yes. I actually already have some foundational ideas for new networks to help them get started.
Fitness
Our physical well-being goes hand-in-hand with our mental preparedness and commitment to our brothers. Meeting the fitness standards provided by the organization is demonstrative of respect for both yourself and your fellow activists. To ensure that all members of NW3 are physically fit for the tasks at hand, fitness tests should be conducted monthly. Additionally, network members' scores should be tracked to gauge improvement, maintenance / stagnation, and decline. Failure to adhere to fitness standards should result in referral to the Lifestyle Recovery Program.Activism
We all lead personal lives independent of the organization; every man attending every outing and event is not realistic. That said, this is an activist organization, and there should be some standard for activity at the individual level. As a network, we need to develop some standard for acceptable activity not only to ensure constant promat presence in our area, but also to track our network's activity in general. Dips in activity can be met with conversation and solutions, bumps can be met with conversations about what might have led to increased activity, and individual contribution can be monitored to ensure each man is keeping his head in the game. Planning
Group activities are one of our strongest assets. They build understanding, cohesion, and trust. Asking a guy or two to become something like "action planners" could be a huge boon for us(Note 1). Their job should be, in coherence with the ND, to digitally or physically scout locations for stickering, postering, and stenciling. They should include a short, paragraph-long write-up of the location, needed supplies, needed manpower, expected exposure (both to the activists during the action and for the organization after the fact), and rough time / date windows. After being greenlit by the ND, the planners will reach out to network members and solidify the action in accordance with member availability.
(Note1)This is an expectation of all activists, but formally asking someone to adopt this responsibility will most-likely increase our activity level.Meetings
Meetings allow easy dissemination of information from top-to-bottom regarding both what is expected of the activist and what the activist can expect. It also allows members to touch-base with some frequency. Additionally, meetings compel the activist to adhere to fitness, activism, and planning standards if they are expected to report on a regular basis. A weekly basis seems as good a start point as any.
These points should be discussed in a new network's meetings ASAP upon founding. It establishes standards across multiple aspects of membership and provides a solid foundation upon which a network can better itself and grow.
Re: recruitment, I'll get to work.
Side note: with the Rittenhouse verdict, expect demonstrations in a major city near you. @PC - Jesse CO and I are putting together a scouting run tonight to learn about the leaders, numbers, different groups, and tactics used by leftists in our area. If you have the manpower, it's a good opportunity to get eyes on opfor. We're rolling in 2-man teams; 1 cameraman, 1 guard.
Very good hold onto this.
Interesting last idea.
It went super well. Got loads of pictures of opfor, lots of video, too. Learned a lot about organization, tactics, and a bit about leadership.
Hi Carter. I think the think tank should have a mumble meeting to discuss our ideas and workflow, as well as how we frame this suggestion to the boss, before we all head out for the event.
The Think Tank will not be addressed to him until after the event due to how busy Thomas is at the moment, it's a bad idea to present such an idea right now. I've already figured out a structure for our meetings but won't be presenting it until Thomas and I have a conversation. Don't worry my friend I'm taking care of everything.
He has never said "no" to anything I've done before and he allows me to host an investing / business group within the organization. There is no reason he won't allow this either, actually he will probably be very excited to hear it.
Glad to hear, just wanted to be sure we were sorted out before you brought us to him. Cheers.
Hey Carter, can I send you a fitness pic update? Looking to make my way to shields and I want your take.
Sure? I've never seen you before though.
Do you have before / after
No before, I've always been fit. Here's current:
Yeah your arms are looking good
Hoping to see you and your men on the ground.
Feeling very excited for this one. It'll be my first.
Thanks man.
I probably won't be attending sadly, my wife is about to give birth in the next few weeks.
Hey, congratulations!!!
Very happy for you my friend. We will act in your stead. Again, congratulations!!
Thank you. There is always the possibility of me showing up regardless though... I'll decide the night before.
I'm sure you already have plans, but please send us a PM if you want a ride the night before, we might be able to swing by and grab ya.
Appreciate the offer. We've got a massive passenger bus for the even I purchased for $2,200 at a government auction that can seat almost 14 men. 1999 E450 Ford V10 Gas
It's our networks perm shuttle.
Very based.
Looking forward to seeing your man Randy again - also you man Kyle(?) I think who ran ahead during the CO hike.
Both great people.
Randolph and Zach
Kyle looks much different than both haha
Ah, Zach. That man needs to keep a better eye on his backpacks, lol.
Yes he is interesting.
Both were great. Looking forward to seeing everyone in action.
Colorado has tripled in size - hoping to bring some force to bear.
That's good. How's Ben's leadership?
He's great. The best man for the job.
I've sent him the same words I sent you re: new networks and am looking forward to presenting them, if you think they're relevant, when the time comes.
Yes, we'll discuss these things during our think-tank meeting. I've received many ideas from those picked already it'll be an excellent first meeting.
Good to hear Ben fitting the job. Was wondering if he was commanding enough.
Glad to hear. I think this is exactly the right move for the organization; good men throwing ideas at Thomas and him deciding what will stick.
Yeah, Ben's a good leader. He's confident, calm, and collected. He's also smart and commanding. During our riskiest actions - which have gotten us thousands and thousands of reactions - everyone follows his lead and no one questions him unless they're bringing up alternative tactics, and he listens.
Hey - just got confirmation I made shields. Cheers!
