Mine must have different settings than everyone else’s because every event they half ass work

That's interesting! What can you tell me about them? Baofeng UV-5Rs I'm assuming but I can't be sure. What seems to be the problem as well? Not transmitting? The more info you give me the better I can help

They just don’t pickup sounds very well

This event we should actually be programming new settings into all the radios via software program on a laptop so bring them by and we might be able to get it solved in less than a minute if its a software issue. Honestly if that's the issue I'm not even a little worried, I can tell you right now it seems like a squelch issue if the issue is your radio(s) are just having trouble picking up sound well

We can have a quick call sometime later today for sure, but if the only problem is it picking up noise well then I think I just diagnosed it. Well, assuming of course that you've tried turning the volume on max already, I'm sure you have so I'm thinking 95% chance it's the squelch
