Why make all that sacrifice all in vain?
Why make it all for nothing?
I'm not asking for you to abandon your faith
I am just asking that you ask questions
Voievod Stefan the Great defended Moldova against 120.000 turks, the second largest army of the Ottoman Empire, he had only 40.000 men. Materially inferior, our host fasted before battle and prayed for victory, which God did give them, saving Europe from the muslim plague.
I know these things, they strengthen me.
I am not an enemy of Christ, since in the same way he defends my people from evil He defends all innocents
But whether I need Him or not, He will do what He wills
He knows I am not evil
He knows my heart is in the right place
And it wasn't for nothing, to answer your question, since my skin felt goosebumps when I've read about their sacrifice. Knowing what they did emboldens me, fanaticizes me, hardens my resolve in pursuit of victory or death
Amen
Fight to make yourself pure brother, fight to make our people worthy of glory and honor
I will fight with the name Odin/Wotan on my lips as you fight with the name of the blessed virgin or Christ
But we fight for the same goal
@PolXnihil Have you read up on Esoteric Hitlerism at all?
I will, my point is that faith is not an empty concept. Legionaries used to invoke the souls of the dead, of those whose blood mixed with our soil in defense of Fatherland and concluded that victory is achieved by attracting these unseen forces to your side.
@(H) Sterie Ciumetti Haha! That is far from a Christian idea brother
But I am not mocking you brother
Just giving you better insight into words that you say without thinking
Good.
there are differences between the west and the east, invoking the souls of the dead might seem pagan to some Christians, but it only sounds like that. When you say a prayer to a deceased relative it is calling on their soul as well.
For you, a foreigner, that concept is anathema to a lot of christians in my area. Many would recoil in horror if you said that in their presence, and probably get angry with you lol
Wew
It makes more sense to me, a Heathen, than any of those blockheads
I have noticed something here too...I went to a Baptist church once, and people seem to be on auto-pilot there, no critical thinking just blindly following the pastor, no idea on the depth of spiritual warfare that is going on in the world but happily singing about smiling Jesus
😆
If there's one thing I don't like it's this auto-pilot mentality, church is sleeping and men are on auto-pilot
Yeah, people don't like to use warrior Jesus or conqueror Jesus anymore, it's always daydreaming Jesus or benevolent rocker Jesus
It's reflected in the shape your religion is in really
Oblivious
@PolXnihil You've nailed it. That's why people are turning to warrior-like figures like Odin. There needs be masculine, heroic sentiments that have been stripped away from modern Christianity. It's mostly the penal substitution theory
While in the east there is still Christus Victor theory, of a conqueror over hell, a vanquisher of evil, warrior Jesus
Revisiting the Satan/Wotan dichotomy again for a moment, I have to stress that it isn't always just a need for us western men to want a heroic figure to follow, it is also an intuitive thing, a natural thing. Jesus/Abraham/Moses/Joshua is and always will be a foreign concept a foreign mythos
It didn't start with us, and shouldn't end with us, at least not to me
I loved a video on Youtube I saw once about becoming a Heathen, and one of my favorite parts was his statement about meeting your ancestral Gods is like coming home. Hearing something/someone that you were always meant to understand on a deep level
I can hear the words of Jesus, and I understand them, but then I hear the words of Odin (Havamal) or those of the Eddas and I not only understand them, but they deafen me
They pierce my very being like nothing else
If my people want the words of Jesus because he makes them feel safe in their guarantee of eternal life with Him, then far be it from me to tell them otherwise, but I will tell them till I run out of breath that the man of the West should look to ourselves as men with unlimited potential to make the Earth nothing short of perfect
We are men of industry, honor, sacrifice, love, beauty and tradition. We simply adapted christianity to fit that mold and it just so happened that it fit like a glove.
