For like $50
neato
looks like they are spanish guns?
I assume the vepr question comes down to barrel length. I would look into the optimal barrel length for the loads you intend to shoot. Also my dad has an old Sears and Roebuck .22 its fun to shoot but the extractor has issues and breaks a lot.
If you intend on shooting cheap spam can ammo and don't care about consistency or accuracy you could go with a shorter barrel. It will be lighter and easier to carry.
Vepr in general will be pretty heavy right?
due to the thicker receiver?
yes
even if you shoot cheap ammo your accuracy will not be bad loads of good videos out there showcasing this
a lot of the sporterized ones don't have a threaded barrel which is annoying
com bloc guns are minute of man
but amazing
the thing with AK's if you're shooting on bench is making sure you're not laying the barrel on a stand
that makes ur accuracy go all over
it can
keep your stand close to the receiver
the same is true with any rifle
i mean since the handguard isn't free floated
the short handguards pretty easy to do it on AK's
its really not a hugew deal unless your tryign to reach out past three hundred yards for 4 inch moa
my range has a lot of long range shooting
if you're just standing blasting at 25 yards though yeah
not a big deal
incorrect
you can easily bench at 300 and under with a decent ak
and geat 10inch moa
lol
these prevasive myths about ak accuracy are so stupid
yea AK accuracy isn't that bad really
at least my sg21 is pretty good
its good infact
I do hate ak sights though
no getting around that
meh
most older rifles share them doesnt bnother me
yea you can make em work
but if I have other options i'll take em
lol
I run a primary arms 1-6x on mine
it is pretty good out to 300-400
