Have you read James 2 in context?
Yes without faith there is no salvation. But not on faith alone are you saved. Yes I have read James
"Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law."
-Romans 3:28
John 20:23, Jesus tells His disciples, “If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."
^ the scriptural justification of confession
If you have saving faith, your heart is transformed and you have works, but works cannot save someone. Faith alone saves. This is why the just live by faith (Romans 1:17)
Living by faith results in good work for by their fruits you shall know them
Teaching to forgive isn't justification for confession. There's actually a passage in 1 John that literally says if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us, but even that isn't saying to confess to a man who is elevated to an authority.
If you are not in communion with the church or the sacraments you have no faith
Lutherans actively reject the bride of christ you do not have faith in christs church
Church is a spiritual body of followers of Christ, not a demonic institution claiming to be it.
Lutherans schism is of the lack of believe in church authority the sacraments and the ability for God to keep the church from error
Your error is thinking than organization was/ever will be the church.
Peter is the rock of the church
you have built your church on sand
Peter would rebuke the entire concept of the Catholic church.
You have no Apostolic succession, no authority, no love, no fruit, and no truth.
what would he rebuke
no you have no apostolic succession
The Catholic church is carnality dressed up like Spirituality.
where is the link with the saints
1500 years of God's church being wrong
do you not have faith in God to remove confusion
Apostolic succession as you understand it isn't Biblical.
Well how did saul become a apostle of christ
by authority of peter
The Catholic church was wrong (objectively) on many things. Do you support the selling of indulgences?
The selling of indulgences were abused but morally the concept is not wrong
There was always a real church. They were the ones your demonic organization was burning alive for having the Bible in their language.
no there wasn't you have made this up the catholic faith was the real church
I wan't evidence
You think indulgences are permitted? You think man has the authority to sell salvation? You think faith in Christ can be sold?
No the clergy who have inheritted the will of the apostles have the God given right to assign pennance for repenting of sins
if that is giving to charity or the work of the church
that is doctrinally justified
You can't sell believe on Christ. So you either believe. Are you saying faith in Christ doesn't save?
Your clergy inherited gluttony and murder, but never any real spritual authority I'm afraid. None. Zip. Nothing.
Man cannot sell salvation.
you have heard my objection to lutheran heresy you haven't disproved my point your heresy sows confusion so is from lucifer
"Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."
-Phillippians 2:12
