fair
but the liberal media claims that Fidesz is seriously threatened are overblown
They also told the older liberals to either march in line with Gyurcsány and Karácsony or gtfo for being traitors to the cause
Some of them did, and they will either not vote or vote for Puzsér
Puzsér is an interesting wildcard. He's an honest person with a noble project, but he is not a politician and that caps his maximum %
White women: not even once.
Ugh
Cringe
Current results have left opposition candidate leading the Budapest mayoral race with nearly half the votes counted. If Fidesz doesn't conjure up some Gypsy votes soon, I'm gonna be disappointed. https://www.valasztas.hu/d4/onk19/szavossz/onkval/hu/foejelolt.html
lol
women are actually trash
Yeah, I'm not surprised.
Upside, I guess: the migrant crisis that's brewing will probably drive Fidesz's numbers back up again
Budapest went liberal even in the overall elections. I don't think it is a bad thing they won these local elections
It gives an opportunity to remind people what kind of trash these people are, specially the young people.
well the other news is that Fidesz is trailing in the other cities as well
Fidesz only wins in elections because of the countryside
City people are all the same
yeah but they also won in the smaller cities in previous elections save for Szeged and Pecs
good point
So sum mszpm dk, momentum, lmp, etc etc.
But that opens two opportunities
1. Success breeds ambition. They will go at each other throats in the united front.
Just give them time, like the right wing did after trump won.
2. Give these people rope and spotlight, and they will fuck up
so basically let their equivalent of the Squad run rampant
Let them fuck up in public, they will probably cut off money to the cities to allow them to fail under less favourable conditions
I note that some of the opposition candidates have been lobbying the E.U. to dispense money direct to the cities instead of giving it to the national government
Btw, the ratio of advertising of Fidesz vs the Opposition in Budapest was like...hmmm.. 4 op to 1 Fidesz
really?
interesting
The whole city was plastered on ads for the Opposition
the left was whining about how they were shut out of everything
though I remember noting that during the parliamentary election there was barely any Momentum advertising
a lot of Jobbik, MSZP, DK ads
Funny, they started very hard and very early, I thought for a while fidesz was not even running.
they were probably expecting to coast
also what do you know about this "Devil's Advocate" stuff?
the only English-language source I can find is Hungarian Spectrum, which is run by this delusional old bat who lives in Connecticut
