@Gailm Not bad, but I'm a hot Rekk today. I want this hot-humidness to go and get more reasonable - like 80 or 70
Where I was from, other than the fruit pies, there was only Lemon Meringue pie. Then, when I moved to Virginia I was introduced to "Key Lime Pie" as well as Peach Pie - not popular in Michigan. and something very unusual in Tidewater - Peanut Raisin Pie
Then, there was this gurl that was sweet on "yourz truly" and invited me over for dinner... She made a cheese cake with graham cracker crumb crust and topped with cheery pie filling. That was tHE BOMB!
Even when I was a young glutten, I could only eat one piece - it was THAT rich.
How R U Sir KLAT-TU
I use a pic of Sonny, but he is not a good reresentation of Rekkedge
King Klat-Tu -you nay-yaw be talkin lok me
@Ron Ward is that John Lee hooker?
I like his "Can't Find My Way home
I remember the "John Barelycorn Must Die"
@ColdBrewedFreedom Watch out where the huskies go, don't you eat that yellow snow..."
Nanook of the North
Q is really into John Lee Hooker
When I was in Detroit I saw most all of the groups at The Grande Ballroom and East Town Theater. Never saw the Stones, Beatles or Cream or some of the other giant English groups
Saw Moody Blues 4 times there. Led Zeplin on their first U.S. tour.
Never saw them
Stever Miller Blues Band, Fleetwood Mac - before Stevie & Lindsey
Procol Harem - Whiter Shade of Pale
Electric Light Orchestra in the early days.. Jame Gang - before Walsh joined the Eagles...never saw the Eagles
BB King several times along with Albert King - some really great blues
Actual local groups from the area was Amboy Dukes (Nugent), Bob Seger System, MC5, and a few others whose name slip me at the moment
30 Days in the Hole
Who did Eye in the Sky?
OH - Detroit group J Giles Band
@trooper411 Yep - Canada
Plus, WABC & WKNR [Keener]
CKLW played mostely MoTown - Smokey, Miracles, Temptations and all
@trooper411 well, yes - 60's & 70's
More MoTown than rock like WKNR played
They were a blowtorch station. Actually Windsor is what gave us 4 stations - ABC, NBC CBS, and the Canadian station CKLW TV channel
@ColdBrewedFreedom Detroit
About that time, out came the transistor radios. 9 volt battery with extending antenna and we were set
Whatever one must be careful of was "don't drop them" they would explode and then you needed to buy another
@trooper411 My memory is pretty good, but not THAT good
I left Detroit area in 1973 though, so...
By 1973, we were listening to EFFFF EMMMM
Some underground station like "WABS"? or something like that where the DJ was stoned and played a wold side on an album

I even belonged to 2 book clubs at once. Book of the Month Club and then they came out with the Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Cl;ub.
I read everything James Michner wrote as well as Clancey, Robert Ludlum, James, Clavell, Loouis La'Mour and more
@KLATU Don't think so. is that poetry?
I would go through phases where I'd read fiction, then non-fiction exclusively. A lot of spiritual books both very old and current. Pretty much all of C.S. Lewis both fiction and his non-fiction and such
Yes & yes... actually own them

Great Divorce
A real cool book was "Demon: A Memoir" by Tosca Lee

@trooper411 Remember Van Gellis or however it was spelled?
@trooper411 which this?
Oh, he was space music
He did "Cosmos
The Album Cosmos by actually it's "Vangelis" one word... space music
Remember Tubular Bells? Creepy song
Ever hear Mansions of the Lord? It's basically for soldiers, but it's very moving
Vangelis also did Blade Runner Music as well as Chariots of Fire
Did you like Vangelis Hymn @trooper411 ?
I DM'd it to you
It's just one of his songs
I just remembered Vangelis first from Chariots of Fire, then his space stuff on the radio back in the early 80's
As a former guitarist, I appreciate great guitar players - of any genere.. Vince Gill, David Gilmore, Mark Knopfler, etc..
His Brothers in Arms is powerful
@KLATU Should see him do it with Emmy Lou Haris
Check out Mark Knopfler and Emmy Lou doing "If This is Goodbye
Willie Nelson said "that there are only 2 kinds of men: Those that Love Emmy Lou Harris and those that have never met her"
@KLATU Me as well. After all, I'm in Virginia and not farm from sacred Bluegrass places here where I live.
@trooper411 Willie is very old and wrecked now
I was Bill Monroe before he passed away are a festival they took all us cripples to
They wore suits with white shirts and those southern ribbon ties
@KLATU They [Deep State] will make world war 3 on us to make sure Trump is not re-elected - if they can

The rats in all the cities are now getting dangerous with their fleas - plague could be easily introduced
I wonder how the whole thing went down in Portlans today?
@KLATU I mean Antifa versus Patriots Prayer - who they pre-arrested before they even did anything

Does Q need 8chan back? Seems like that is not going to happen anytimesoon
Seems to me is Q is Military and they have "control" of their comms that they can set up something different
Neon Revolt said that DHS committee is not a good thing - they're all Deep State
I wish C_A, FBI, Fed Reserve and DHS could be dimantled and disbanded for good.
