@CasualSailor I believe in some kind of disability programs for people who are truly disabled. And I believe in basic emergency medical services for all. (Not comprehensive free health care, or Medicare for all)

@CasualSailor most likely yes, and then also mass public transit in dense urban areas which could be funded by city taxes and that kind of thing. Subsidized fares for transit for low income people in urban areas so they can get to work and stuff, and some kind of affordable healthy food program for low income people

The eligibility of these programs would need to be restricted to those who truly need it

That's a bold claim to make by @Timcast . It would imply Chicago is misallocating police resources and excessive targeting of Jussie. It sounds like police were looking for a gotcha moment
