So I found out something today

they don't have "guitar masses", they only use the guitar for very specific songs

and there' s usually *no* music during the non-Sunday masses

That reminds me - what I did catch of the homily today, between the screams, was that the mass had *zero* to do with the bible reading. It was basically a 30 minute long (15 minute homily, 15 minutes after communion) advertisement for a feeding hungry children charity

an admirable goal, but the homily isn't the place for that imho..

The funny thing is the homilies here are usually at least okay
