Just got my Mi6 with the Mi ANC & Type-C In-Ear Earphones

There's like no fucking bass to them

Very airy soundstage though

And the noise cancellation is pretty awesome

Not that bad actually

It just feels like right on the lower side of the mids it just drops off

Almost like the bass player fell asleep before the band started playing

And the drummer has two broken feet

Real shame to be honest considering the Piston 2 (or 3, can't remember) that I have are really nice

I gotta start wearing mine again

Stopped wearing it because I figured out I do about 7000 steps a day give or take

I broke the MMCX antenna port off of my Mi5s mainboard

Why I got a Mi6

I'd use my Pistons but the Mi6 is Type-C only

No 3.5mm port

So have to use shitty dongle DAC

@maito received a pair of the Xiaomi ANC yesterday. Coming from Piston 2s I'm not impressed

The Xiaomi ANC has way too little bass, although droidbot told me yesterday there's a mod to help that. Feel like the soundstage is extremely narrow

Although the noise cancellation is really cool

Got my partner a Mi Notebook Air for Christmas 2016

Build quality is excellent, USB ports are a little tight though, assuming they used very tight tolerances

Screen is great, keyboard isn't the best I've used but it's decent enough
