I don't weigh in on the NV argument usually because
1. For the application most will use it for, I can't shit on much of anything because any beats none
2. There are other non-headgear options I'd use if I was gonna try and be a precision stud with NV
3. It's an argument that gets gayer and gayer because it's mostly cringe larperators who use it solely for this purpose in my experience

But I'm also just no fun when it comes to gear debates. As long as what somebody is running isn't abysmal or dangerous to their health, I don't see any issues.
