That's the thing with large 4chan servers, they attract a lot of... degenerates. I'm not referring to NEETs watching anime or whatever, that's a perfectly acceptable part of 4chan, but yeah the porn sharing servers are full of absolute newfag cumbrains who can't function properly on an actual board like /mu/, /int/, or /pol/.

So they tend to congregate offsite.

Butnaw, there are some decent 4chan servers out there, but they're almost always from small boards and they're quite circlejerky.
Especially the /bant/ servers, many of them are full of "oldfags" who reminisce about the early days of /bant/ before /r9k/ pushed literally everyone out with its incessant gayposting in 2018

You could very much try. I was in a few natsoc servers from 2015-2016 and they got by through having good vetting processes and encouraging discussion wherever they could.

I mean to be fair it is very much justified, apu and honkler are different in many ways from the original pepe. I don't mean to look too far into a meme, but they have different spirits and reasons for existing. Apu is comfy and autistic, honkler is chaotic, and pepe is just there for the feels or to piss people off.

Given how much is already in the chat though, I'd say it's a bit too much work to move everything over if you ask me
