@thedarkness05 lol. If my tomatoes dont I fucking will

2020-04-19 21:52:31 UTC

All the plants I had
6 tomato and about 11 beans died
Only one bean plant is alive and if nothing else is out by now they got to be dead

2020-04-19 22:12:08 UTC

Dang bro rip

2020-04-19 22:12:12 UTC

What happened?

2020-04-19 22:14:20 UTC

No clue
The soil was hand mixed with compost
Each tomato had its own pot and the beans were in a big container with at least 6 inches between
They got watered daily in the morning just a little bit
There was a week of heavy rain but that's it

They had plenty of drainage so im not sure why they have sprouted

2020-04-19 22:49:53 UTC

Not gonna lie
Looks good

2020-04-19 23:03:11 UTC

@jaguarknight thanks man. Also how did your plants die? Slowly wilting, brown leaves? Spots?

2020-04-20 00:24:08 UTC

Never sprouted

2020-04-20 00:27:06 UTC

Sometimes you gotta sprout in bags or cups

2020-04-20 00:32:58 UTC

Maybe
But isn't it too late now
It's mid April so it's past planting season

2020-04-20 00:36:47 UTC

Not too late at alp

2020-04-20 00:37:32 UTC

Get your basic seeds together asap and ready to sprout. Beans sprout great in a cup with a wet napkin in there

2020-04-20 00:37:53 UTC

Tomatoes work well in the bag with a wet napkin

2020-04-20 00:38:23 UTC

Sprouting has been a challenge for me but im gonna start my next round of sprouts soon

2020-04-20 00:39:07 UTC

2020-04-20 00:43:03 UTC

2020-04-22 22:21:38 UTC

2020-04-22 22:21:54 UTC

So i did the best I could. Time to start more

2020-04-23 03:45:27 UTC

@Ramrod1992 still looks good man. Also depending on location it aknt too late.

2020-04-23 03:45:42 UTC

I'm still tryna plant until the last minute as much food as possible

2020-04-23 03:45:54 UTC

Salvagable

2020-04-23 03:45:56 UTC

Had a late frost this year and yesterday was it

2020-04-23 03:46:13 UTC

God damn. Well now is the time.

2020-04-23 03:46:28 UTC

Moving forward were looking at low 40s but no 30s for the forseeable future

2020-04-23 03:46:30 UTC

2020-04-23 03:46:50 UTC

2020-04-23 03:47:10 UTC

Hes warm like you

2020-04-23 03:47:49 UTC

Yeah my shit freezing up here. I need cucumbers and cabbage next. Maybe melons

2020-04-23 03:48:33 UTC

@jaguarknight still time for tomatoes, peppers etc. A little tip, if their still selling shit a home depot or whatever with no discount, you can still grow it. Also, just because you missed out on some stuff this time doesnt mean you cant get it ready for next year. Especially supplies and set ups.

2020-04-23 03:49:03 UTC

@Ramrod1992 if you like lettuce and what not. Kale, and butter crunch lettuce does great.

2020-04-23 03:49:09 UTC

Even in cooler climates.

2020-04-23 03:49:36 UTC

Also NAPA cabbage does great there, its korean, you can make your own kimchi

2020-04-23 03:49:53 UTC

Whatever yall throw out, put it in the compost pile for next year

2020-05-04 19:32:38 UTC
