Has anyone bought a Tecknet mouse?
They claim to be the "leading UK computer peripheral" brand or whatever
But a few of their mice seem pretty nice, though kinda pricy
at that price
i'd go for a deathadder
atleast those are known
so it isn't an absolute crapshoot
where you might get very shit quality stuff
there's some legit deathadders floating around on ali
Yeah, I bought one
I heard there are legit Intellimice floating around, too
Intellimice i find harder to believe
because they're really old and you can't really go online and check the sn right?
I almost bought a 2013 deathadder with a goliathus on ali the other day
It's mostly confirmed by people who have had the mouse before
but I ended up shelling out extra for a g502 so i don't get the typical razer memes
And since the model itself is really old, and the fact that it's a pretty legendary mouse, you have a huge pool of people who can confirm the authenticity through sheer muscle memory
oh yeah i guess
That being said, I was mostly asking cause I would want to try a mouse with alot of buttons
That isn't totally shit like the Logitech or the Razer variants
logitech meaning the mmo mouse
that was absolutely horrid?
Yup
naga hex looks good but expensive
It's not very durable, trust me
yeah I know
You can feel the QUALITY, just touching it
that's why I didn't get a DA
oh shit
I'm in love with the g502 tbh
built like a tank
The DA feels really good in comparison, though
aniversary update is upon me
feels like actual quality
enjoy the botnet
And that's mostly due to it being manufactured by someone else
god save us all
As for the Synapse software
You can just go driverless
Or just use the legacy one
I have the g300s after using a second hand da
the g300s is much better
ironically the g502 has as many extra buttons as the naga hex, however they're not together to be reached by your thumb
and it's not marketed as an mmo mouse unlike the hex
I've tried out a regular naga and the plastic feels cheap
and flimsy
Yup
But hrm
>As many buttons as a Naga
I thought it only had like 5 extra buttons
That's rebindable, that is
it has 6
3 thumb buttons
2 next to the left click
and one in the middle
behind the free wheel thing
The deal with the Naga is that it has 8 rebindable buttons
Otherwise, it's pretty trash
Wait, no
I'm talking about the Hex
Naga has like
12 thumb buttons?
yeah naga has 12
oh
I just noticed the 2 top buttons on the hex
my bad
And 2 side buttons
in any case as a pretty heavy wow player I can't see myself using a regular naga
maybe a hex
but still
I've seen some friends use it pretty effectively
Though they admit that it takes a while to get used to it
But
None of them have had it longer than a year
I used both side buttons in wow pretty effectively
To attest for its quality
I imagine I could use these 6 too
but many more and it just becomes a mess
I like mashing on my number keys like a retard
can't do that when you have bulky fingers and 12 clustered buttons
my only gripe with this mouse is that the scrollwheel was hard to get used to at first
but it is pretty satisfying once you do
It has that hyperscroll thingy, right?
yeah
Like all Logitech mice
the problem is that it has side scrolling
and the wheel is full metal
Since the first wireless MX one
i used to click middle mouse at an angle
can't do that here or i'll end up scrolling right
or, in my case, switching tabs
had to get used to clicking it from the bottom center or straight down
but damn the metal notches on the wheel feel good
sensor is god tier
