The Mission Statement of The
Libertarian Centrist Union
(L.C.U.)

The goal of the Libertarian Centrist Union is to take a different direction than where we have been heading politically, economically, socially, and environmentally. For too long, we have believed that we were on the right path, blindly going along with laws, regulations, and societal standards until it stopped working or began going in a bad direction. We’d stop, figure out what we believed went wrong, and implemented something that we believed would fix the issues. Instead of watching the effects of the results of the things we implemented, we found other things, people, etc. to blame when it didn’t solve the problem at all.
This is something the LCU wishes to correct, we need to be aware of what has occurred in society due to our actions, as well as our inaction, in our daily lives. This is called maturity; accepting the results of our behavior and taking responsibility for it. The LCU is humanity finally standing up and saying, “Enough is enough!” We keep doing the same things, just within a slight variation and getting the same results; that is the description of insanity, and the LCU is here to clear up this political, economic, and societal insanity. To do this, we must unite amongst the people; we can no longer believe that the government is going to fix things because of the greater good. The left and the right of all the political systems and parties in all nations complain about the corruption, greed, abuse of power, etc. within the opposing parties, yet we refuse to see they are all corrupt.

The LCU wishes to do away with the powers of government that allow the rich and greedy to buy politicians, including investments through lobbying, campaign funding, etc. Politicians vote in their behest or write laws in their favor; this benefits the politicians and the greedy and corrupt business owners, but hurts those businesses competition, the workers, and the consumers. These types of tactics are only today’s version of what ancient, archaic, and tribalistic governments of the world did and we need to, as a human species, move past these old ways. The power belongs to the people, not the ones who lie so that they can gain power and wealth at the loss and enslavement of the people to a system that we have to follow or we get thrown in cages called jails and threatened with the police. The LCU believes in a society that cares for those who can’t care for themselves and those who need solid ground to stand on. We don’t look at the circumstances that the game of life dealt you as being a judge of your character; we care about what you can become if given an equal opportunity, as every single person deserves. We advocate a system that helps stimulate the desire for self-education, self-determination, self-sustainability, self-drive, and self-protection, and offers easier access to all the things one needs to follow their passions and become the best they can be; a system where we end the war state, end policing the world, end the war on poverty, end class warfare, end the government’s ability to artificially decide what rights we have, what we can and can’t do, what we’re supposed to do, how much things should cost, etc..

The mission of the LCU is to accomplish all of this through organization, open discussions, formal debates, and more - to push a transition plan into effect in America and this would serve to solve the above problems, and so much more. In order to reach these goals, each and every LCU advocate must get out there and advocate it, argue for it, learn the details of the system to accurately inform others, and share the content and platforms around with everyone you know so that the community grows and the conversation gets more diverse. If we succeed, we will have steered the world on a path towards a new form of governance, one that lives by and remembers the words of wise individuals throughout time, instead of it only having been a question on a history book; one where we realize we can lose this if we forget to stay aware. Tyrants will always rise, the corrupt will always be connected, and the greedy will always be wealthy; with the success of the LCU, we will have created a world where they have no outlet to utilize their power to gain more against the people; where the people can’t be prevented from equal opportunity; where every person truly has equal rights, opportunities, and a more equal starting ground despite their age, sex, gender, race, sexual orientation, mental/physical disabilities, appearance, etc. So unite with the LCU and help bring about change for a better world.
