it happens naturally

we just had a policy that moves the health services

communications

commute and such

to the larger cities

so now you dont have a healthcare center

in your small town

you have to drive 40~km

to the nearest one

if this isnt

infrastructure is way, way more expensive in small towns, especially in a country with low density like Finland

you want to maintain these? pay higher taxes

I'm personally not a fan of small towns and rural areas as I crave for cultural heritage and beautiful architectural sites and there are none there so I'll be honest this process doesn't concern me that much
