(Side note, republicanism was looked how we view communism when it first popped up)
Welp in other news I can start working on my ar again
Iโm reffing basketball on the side and earning some extra cash
In a Republic representatives are elected that represent a certian people or interest, usually along geographic and political lines (which almost tend to follow a pattern but that bit is for another time). Wherein the representatives work for their constituents and come to a compromise or agreement. Basically so every side is heard and no one has ultimate power either in a majority or minority position
Christmas is rolling around and I asked for money ar mags and 223
@Hellhound6 yeah
Yea thatโs the way itโs meant to be
Then there's federalism, and a bunch of other stuff. But you really should look into post Revolutionary war to see how the Founders did things. They failed too, as seen in the articles of confederation
^
Thanks bubba
No problem homie, gotta use my degree for something
Yea Iโm familiar with the era of good feeling and federalist
Cause thatโs what Iโm going through in us history 101
Take everything with a grain of salt
Educate yourself if able too
Well my teacher is a based dude
Knowledge is power
And I getcha
But this dude is very politically aligned with how I feel
When you can actually read the federalist papers, the constitution, articles of confederation, common sense, and other works by the enlightenment thinkers of that era
So not to be that guy, but I think teachers shouldn't push their political views on students
Regardless of what side they stand on
Spoiler alert though: Jefferson pretty much ripped off John Locke
I agree but he doesnโt push his views he just steps on everyoneโs toes
And I know him personally
@thedarkness05 tell us more, brรธthรซr
If anything they should challenge the students views, get them to question and defend their stance with actual evidence and logic. Regardless of what it is.
Didnโt John Locke say people were naturally good
Thatโs what he does and I really like it
I believe that statement to be bullshit
Me
To
Too
@thedarkness05 my friend that teaches does that
Maybe? But then again he does talk about a base social contract that keeps soceity together and us from anarchy. "Man is born free, but everywhere he is in chains"
Total freedom is anarchy and anarchy is survival of the fittist
My mistake, it was Rousseau who said the chains bit. Theres a lot of stuff kicking about up in there
As much as I love discussing this stuff I need to get settle down and all. I got a long day tomorrow cause itโs mine and my gf 1 month and I was gonna take her somewhere special, anyways good night men
Night Paddy
You boys be interested if I started twitch streaming?
Gey
Go away
I used to doit like a year ago and got affiliated
@Trash Squid shhh
Listen here merd
Shhh
I'm sleeping
Not necessarily. Humans are social creatures by design. True anarchy lasts a short while. Then it'll morph to tribalism, where strong rule and weak are oppressed. Then it morphs into other forms that promote some form of elitism, but the negative kind
Have a blown off dick
Someone took a sucking chest wound in the dick
Lmao
@thedarkness05 true enough
He had those aswell
And his fucking lung collapsed and he lost a leg
And he couldn't breathe
That's what happens when your lung collapses
It was an absolute patch job to stabilize this cunt
"Men are naturally good. Society corrupts it". Society is made by men, therefore it should be good, not bad. So as Merc said, bullshit
I mean anarchy is nature and nature is brutal
Everything is nature
Therefore, everything is brutal
*we live in a society INTENSIFIES*
In different ways and aspects
Not arguing the brutality of anarchy. Thats where the first social contracts come into play though "hey grug, I wont murder you in your sleep if you dont murder me in mine. Deal?"
Imma kiss that forehead homie
You wont
Repost
@Trash Squid side note, I'm down for the twitch shit
Word, I've been thinking of getting back into it
Not relevant but relevant
No sidecar?
Always had a good time just vibing and playing some shit
One man recon
Despite basically being spineless he was right on a lot of shit
Forgive me
Obama did that recently. Spoke to big DNC voters and decried "the left is getting too radical, dont worry we have establishment candidates that are good, keep the money coming"
^^
Meanwhile, the top Dem candidate as polled from Trump supporters is Tulsi Gabbard, surprise surprise
I VoTeD
Honestly
There's nothing wrong with voting
The issue is everyone goes for the person or party instead of the policies
Or just doesn't do it at all
Im not against voting
Never said you were
Way better monarchy or any shit like it
Never said you said im against
Thats the biggest problem around democratic politics
People are not into policies anymore
We're in the stage of the Roman senate killing Caesar
Unfortunately the time for the ballot box is coming to an end if nothing changes. Votes will then be cast from the cartridge box
Its all about the party unfortunately
@thedarkness05 I agree
