If you cant bend your mind to understand how water stays how it does
Remember to be respectful in a debate. Ad homs are not necessary.
"Math is cool but it will never curve water" exactly the reason i should just give up on my dreams because to you it wont matter
Why would you give up your dreams specifically because of someone on Discord?
It goes deep
The pain runs deep
Thank you for your evidence, Kitten. However, I require observable, measurable, repeatable evidence, that vacuum space exists.
You should chase your dreams for yourself and no one else.
I wish you all a lovely evening. Truly.
Derek we cant do anything
Honestly
Night Derek.
Your versionof proof requires physical touchable feelable evidence
Of which we cant just show you
Which makes it hard on our part to find you evidence
Youll deny everything unless you have it physcially in front of you
And I ask for something I know you canโt provide. These arenโt questions that were meant specifically for you. But for people 3-4 times your age. With a career in astrophysics, astronomy, etc. Where they run away from the responsibilities of defending their model, and leave it to young ones to defend.
Itโs truly awful.
We camt provide it because the vacuum is hmmmmmmmmm how high up?
But the vacuum shouldnt be thought of as the type of vacuum you use to clean carpets with
They don't think the ISS is actually up there.
You've seen a light, right?
Drew is learning quickly.
Lol the iss is there... They just think its a light
haha I've been doing this for a while.
Somehow a lightbulb
"But its not proof its there"
It would be *incredibly difficult* to make out a clear image of the ISS with a standard telescope.
You see why its an issue?
Same
Ik someone who has a 4k 12 inch dob
I mean, I'm on your side in knowing that's the ISS, but it moves so bloody fast across the sky, you'd need real time tracking
Yea to keep it in a stable orbit
Its technically not in space
well, yeah, totally.
I'm saying to get a clear image of it, though.
Its technically in constant free fall
Thus why its going to fast
Yea
I could see it rn
But i broke my scope
the reason *why* it's going so fast isn't what I'm talking about, though.
Bc i got sad and let a fe influence me again
Yea
I donโt like you feeling bad, YahYett. In all honesty. For real.
you guys, there is real evidence - observable and testable - that falls under strict flat earth guidelines that supports the globe.
Cheer up.
๐โค๏ธ
I am not the smartest person. Itโs true.
Iโm not very smart at all.
But I do possess a knowledge many do not have.
God is real. And he cares for you very, very much. Itโs why you were born.
Mhmm.
Iโve only heard twice from him in my life. The last time was over 10 years ago.
The last thing he said was, โDo not despair.โ
im vaccinated
And strangely enough, I was very angry with that answer.
I didnโt myself until I was completely heartbroken.
I didnโt know until later, but thatโs when God is actually closest to us.
Heโs there when we need him to be.
@Derek Nelson due to the fact that god may not be real, i went ahead and got vaccinated and figured out the earth is round
Yes, I have heard that.
It takes a belief God isnโt real. That proof, is already all around you, @EssDath
is it like a smell?
or a sound?
May he bless you too, even though you do not yet believe in him.
Life itself is proof enough.
Evolution takes a belief. Big Bang, takes a belief.
But thatโs not what we are taught in school.
They teach it as proven. When it isnโt even close.
my belief is that my pizza bagels should be in the fridge
oh wait i ate them
Alrighty then.
I like science too.
Mhmm.
Let's hear it ๐
measure things?
lol you're talking about the Greek's experiment.
Eratosthenes.
it's the shadows you measure
^
Kitten same. Im a believer in both the big bang and the creation stories
Personally they both correlate
The problem with that experiment, is that it assumes a flat earth also believes the sun is an enormous distance away. But, we donโt believe that in actuality.
But most people from both sides are hostile to me
About my ideas
I canโt pretend to say I know.
Because I donโt.
solar eclipses can happen easily on a flat earth as the moon can still pass in front of the sun. Lunar eclipses, however, are very hard to explain.
But I do know thereโs a huge problem in the heliocentric model for them.
For lunar eclipses at any rate.
This means the earth ^ was not in between the sun and moon.
Tomorrow
That's the first I've heard of lunar eclipses happening with the sun still visible.
