That is literally where it's from
>niggas telling me China isn't metal af
Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.
https://www.facebook.com/nogreatersickness/videos/1964260963866255/
That's killdozer level of anger
Chinks get savage sometimes
A Chinese farmer has built his own rocket artillery system to fight back against state-enforced demolition
Bought a used CVA .50 cal from the spares bin
Gonna chop it down to 10" and break my wrist
SLAV GEAR BEST GEAR REEEEEEE
What a fag
Lmao bitch ass
Wish . com Camo came in
and?
Is about what you would expect, will post picture in a minute
nice atacs
Kind of a knock off of what U.S uniforms are, some zippers are substituted with velcro, fabric isn't as stiff as new US ACUs
Overall what you would expect for $30ish
Comes with pants but nothing new to show
Also if you order from Wish be sure to order 2 sizes over your current size
You could get cool FROG fire retardant shit for that
Wish is from china so always order well over your own size.
surplus navy shit is like $25
why are you buying chinese shit for more
NAVY SEAL shit nigga
you know why that shits built so well? Navy seals beat the shit outta their gear because theyre important and they think theyre just gonna get issued new ones
scary part is they dont
I'm yet to see mint chocolate chip at a reasonable price at local places
but I don't have much of a navy presence around me
choco chip is getting near unicorn status
buy now
mint choco chip
not classic chocolate chip
oh
avacado
youre not gonna believe me but I have 5 duffel bags full of it in my living room right now
that is awesome
and I've heard more improbable
ive been repairing some lightly damaged ones as well
I've got 45 gas mask filters
so my buddy, who actually sells surplus instead of hoarding it, is selling my repaired and modified shit.
Those raid mod pants are p popular
cool
anyone want gasmask filters?
40mm
๐ ฑilters
they is hella nice
that entirely depends on the filter
current US issue specially marked hazard filters go for a premium
that's them
I just got SCBA myself though lol
at least to the same spec
these are only issued with a certain type of mask as far as I know
come from the same company and are kept together
SCOTT fire fighting masks are like $400 but you can find em for days at $60 when fire depts ditch em
the adapter for 40mm is like $50 or you can go straight to SCBA
those are general CBRN. Theyre standard but not the general use filter.
The viral agent ones with the yellow front that hazmat units use are $100 a piece
you can get that threat rating cheaper from civy companies but theyre all proprietary filter attachment types
On the topic of uniforms, there's this older guy a town or two that lives south of me. How I didn't hear that he sold military surplus gear prior honestly shocks me, but it turns out that he had gotten a shipment of uniforms that had anti IR shit (don't remember what the actual term is) that I think was supposed to have been destroyed after it had it's use. He, however, was blissfully unaware of this up until a bunch of feds and I think some National Guardsmen as well ended up coming to his home with a few flatbed trucks and talked to him and take back the uniforms. Apparently, someone had sold them to him around 5-10 years ago and I never did hear if they found out how he was sold it or who even sold the uniforms to him in the first place. Thought this would be an interesting bit to share given the relative topic.
>inb4 called out for being fake
cool
CIF likes to come take shit
every current issue uniform is IR signature reduced
well
They will only come take it from you if you try to export it
let me rephrase that, they only legally have grounds to take it*
they will still try to take it if you somehow amass tons of it
if anyone wants a filter, I'm looking to get $20 each, vacuum sealed. Will do discounts if you buy multiple
Pretty sure there was a good container's worth of it.
Hence the flatbeds.
any government property is liable to CIF confiscation
cool
even if it isnt their property anymore
But otherwise, I don't think he cracked it open pretty much since he got it.
my surplus guy nabbed a whole container of armor that the govt didnt want to keep paying to store
was 50% empty ammo cans, nothing about the armor on the roster
cool
that's how my local guy gets his shit
if its in bulk, it hits the shop floor
if its a one off it goes up stairs
up stairs is fucking wonderland
Its the only time I've been able to consistently screw over a pro
I feel bad about it, but I get really cool shit for cheap
Lit
Iโve only ever been to a couple of military surplus places before and only got a few things given I live in a rural area, but the few times I did was awesome.
That was when I was 15 I think, last time I had the opportunity to visit my father since heโs in the Army Corps of Engineers. Heโll move around a lot, so I donโt get many opportunities. Regardless, I ended up getting some hand-me-downs from him along side a larger army rucksack and a sleeping bag to go with.
Anyways, hereโs an article from one of the local radio stations regarding what I was going on about earlier.
https://www.vandaliaradio.com/2018/08/02/family-members-helps-to-clarify-situation-after-federal-operation-in-vandalia-fayette-co-on-tuesday/
I know his son, it was bullshit and he got his stuff back.
Lul
every single current issue uniform has that coating
as long as he wasnt trying to export I dont see any charges.
I haven't looked into it since I've heard about it, so I wouldn't know, but I'm pretty sure he's just local anyways. Oddly enough, when I brought it up with my mother earlier, she mentioned that the gentleman who runs the place has some relation to us from my father's side, though I've never met him myself.
~~Otherwise, I'd probably have a lot more surplus shit.~~
Yeah its a fabric coating treatment like DWR
You know how some cameras have a "thermal" mode? Well, its not really a temperature sensor. The camera uses an infrared spectrum sensor & objects like humans which are dark in normal light are quite bright in infrared
DARPA would be embarrassed if they spent tens of thousands of dollars per unit on thermals and their enemy just integrated a cellphone camera into a $120 red dot knockoff
My local 'mil surp' store only has consignment and even then it's only a rack or two
