Ummm, I'm not in a knowledged position to confirm or deny your claim.
But I will tell you that race is bullshit.
Arbitrated bullshit.
It just sounds like a justification for slavery or some shit.
I"m not so fixed in thinking that race in general is bull shit, but believing that one race is superior,, nah
Race does not have a place in discussions of biology.
It's a social construct.
agree
That's why the only real thing about race is that people believe in it.
Two parter.
kinda funny how white redneck americans love to get a dna test as proof they are tied to the great white race only to find they have blood in them from Africa ,, hahaha
Yeah, well, we pretty much all do.
all do what ?
oh,, have blood from Africa got it
Yeah.
"Race is a social construct"
*Laughs in oppressive French accent*
hmm, this room needs a reason to exist
We arbitrated it.
I mean, genetic differences clearly do exist.
Are they significant? *That's* up for debate. But surely there's no denying genetic differences on group scales.
I'm not ignoring genetic differences, but most of them happen within populations.
AKA ethnic groups.
That's true but there are certainly some that distinguish ethnic groups from each other.
Nothing substantial enough to qualify a different species.
Not a different species, no.
Perhaps better, then, to say not that race doesn't exist, but rather that it is exaggerated.
Well, people are definitely different in different parts of the world, but race is qualified as a social category.
Fare enuf
race don't carry intelligence genes
opportunity / health / education and perceptions = intelligence
The thing that complicates race is the inclusion of social elements.
Which are physical how?
I would definitely say that socioeconimics is a greater contributor to intellignece than ethnicity. But to say that intelligence isn't heritable *at all*? That's absurd.
Why not have both?
Yes, btw, that is how intelligence is perceived.
Race being biological verified
and its qualities both being hammered by genes
and most importantly the environment
