You have to just barely cook it

2017-12-08 20:49:37 UTC

Hmm that makes sense

2017-12-08 20:52:01 UTC

Also dont salt until done cooking. If you salt before you cook it dries it out even more.

Would it be wise for me to start portioning out meals for the week? I've seen professional body-builders do this, and seems like a good idea.

2017-12-08 21:11:14 UTC

Yes meal planning and portioning is a very good idea!

2017-12-08 21:11:39 UTC

it saves money too and helps make sure you’re sticking to macros(if you’re into that)

2017-12-08 21:12:30 UTC

Wife and I are trying out planning, and has worked well! I'll look into it then, PRobably saves time in the long run as well

2017-12-08 23:26:46 UTC

Sunday night and wed night cook/prep worked for me in the past

2017-12-09 00:37:25 UTC

Been trying to get my macros and micros in check but it's not easy

2017-12-09 00:43:13 UTC

56% carb 20% fat 21% protein

2017-12-09 01:42:51 UTC

I've been doing some research, and how should I go about portioning my meals?

2017-12-09 01:43:16 UTC

Broccoli, nuts, berries, etc?

2017-12-09 01:53:48 UTC

Hmmmm that is tough it depends on your goals right

2017-12-09 01:54:03 UTC

Like if you want to lose weight

2017-12-09 01:55:04 UTC

And things like your current weight and activity level should be taken into account too 😊

2017-12-09 15:32:30 UTC

Bought chicken liver last night. Going to try to make this

2017-12-09 21:39:11 UTC

nice

2017-12-10 03:13:02 UTC

@StrawberryArmada Fast food is not a good source for looking for nutritious foods. I think if you eat grass fed beef and free range poultry etc you will gain great nutrients and gains without side effects brought about by fast food and high sugar diets that most americans consume.

2017-12-10 19:25:11 UTC

Beef. But also eat some vegetables like chicken or pork

2017-12-10 19:25:42 UTC

All meat diet.

2017-12-10 19:48:57 UTC

I only eat fast food

2017-12-10 19:49:03 UTC

No time to go slow

2017-12-10 21:17:17 UTC

Someone told me i should eat lots of fats and calories so i'm eating some ice cream

2017-12-10 21:17:30 UTC

I love this dietary advice

2017-12-10 21:29:08 UTC

lol

2017-12-10 22:37:08 UTC

support Ben and Jerry's. They are the accelerationist candidate for ice cream-funded degeneracy.

Wow... I'm finally an alpha now

Here's a repost from the old server. Paleo Mac and cheese. The "macaroni" is diced cauliflower

2017-12-10 22:43:43 UTC

I thought cheese wasn't Paleo?

2017-12-10 22:44:22 UTC

Definitely isnt. Cheating is what a caveman would do though

2017-12-10 22:45:18 UTC

Meant to type keto. I'm a nutrition noob but the chef wasn't

2017-12-10 22:45:38 UTC

Oh. Well I dunno what that is but sounds fancy

2017-12-11 02:07:12 UTC

Does anyone know what effects drinking a lot of tea has on you? Iced tea (sans sugar, of course,) is basically all I think, and several more cups of hot tea before bed. A while ago I experienced kidney stones for the first time, and needless to say that’s something I’d rather avoid in the future. I’ve read that drinking too much tea, coffee, and soda (don’t drink the last one at all,) can sometimes cause kidney stones, but does anyone here know anything about that? How much is safe to drink then? What’s optimal?

2017-12-11 02:41:43 UTC

My wife can't drink much tea bc of kidney stones.

2017-12-11 02:41:55 UTC

According to doctors

2017-12-11 02:42:23 UTC

I wonder if it depends on the tea

2017-12-11 03:01:16 UTC

Might. I know they told my wife it was minerals from the tea leaves. Probably have to look at nutritional info to determine if one is worse than the other.
