I live at home with my parents and my sister (and sister's infant). It's shameful at my age, but I help my sister with her daughter. My mom has severe short-term memory problems and is peak-boomer to boot. So I have to explain my diet every day, and she doesn't get it.

I had to break my 48 hour fast at 24 because she cooked me food and I felt too guilty to refuse it. I'm going to put a good-natured sign up saying not to good me food because I'm on a 72 hr fast.

@Rick Till I move out? I hopefully graduate in December. I lived on my own for fourteen years before moving back, which was to finish my Bachelors and help my fatherless niece.

Then it sounds like you're doing the right thing.

There is nothing wrong with living with your parents, as long as you are putting your life to good use.

@Natasha - PA Sadly it pretty much eliminates any chance of meeting women, ironically.

I've actually been thinking that we may end up needing to at least temporarily move back toward multi-generational cohabitation as things continue to deteriorate. It allows for the building of familial solidarity, the pooling of resources, and it provides more physical security for the women involved.

@Jacob But yeah, I've been kicked out of ketosis a few times via courtesy-eating my mom's food. She gets offended when I don't eat. She slaps Margarine all over the vegetables. It's frustrating.
