@ophiuchus I'm a MAN so I need soap FOR MEN
I think many refers to smells but insecure men take it too far sometimes
I GOTTA WASH MY FACE WITH DAWN AND BARKEEPERS FRIEND BECAUSE IM A MAN
@ThisIsChris HES GOT THE UUUUURGE TO HERBAL!
Selling stuff directed at women makes corp.s HUGE money so why not men?
Watch out for that cheap crap though, it can dry your scalp and cause dandruff
I understand why it's sold, I don't understand why it's purchased.
"Why do I have to pay 1 dollar more for pink razors!!!!"
you don't
Marketing to peoples insecurities
It's for......normies
Maybe because there are so few things specific to men and women in society that this provides an outlet for that small little gender-affirmation in your day.
You literally chose to purchase the more expensive one because it was pink
you're validating the marketing
There’s no men’s only conditioner anyway so I’m buying women’s conditioner every time for my luscious red hair
Conditioner is the women’s conditioner lol
"Corporations exist to further entrenched patriarchy and oppression" instead of "making money" is left-wing alex jones-tier
I hope I don’t catch a lot of flack for this but sometimes I’ve used my wife’s razor because I have very sensitive skin and “man” razors give me gnarly razor burn and bumps
@VinceChaos I have noticed that too lol. You can get mens shampoo or even mens shampoo+conditioner mix, but you can't get men's conditioner
by the way I am not a huge fan of the shampoo + conditioner mix
Gives the best haircuts too
Neither am I @ThisIsChris
the time your hair is sitting in conditioner is NOT the time for shampoo to be drying it out. Opposing effects!
Razors the same. This is literally the marketing argument.
just buy "women's" conditioner
soap is soap fam
@ophiuchus just saying its a marketing thing I've noticed. I'm still buying herbal essences most times anyway
Only difference is fragrances.
Are you guys telling me your don’t cover your heads in grease and shave it with a knife like vin diesel in pitch black? Scoff
@ThisIsChris yeah I gotchu
They also have different genres for if your concerned about different things, like shine vs volume vs curly hair vs hydration
I've found those genres do make a difference
not necessary but a plus.
Pretty sure there is actually more chemicals or more material or better material in a whole host of women’s products so they actually are charging women fairly
@Clayton_H_ATX your wife should join IE and give us advice
If you want shitty products buy men’s things like I buy women’s conditioner for quality
She could, she runs a salon
yeah we need an official IE barbershop
You could just compare ingredients listed on the bottle
