I mostly just know some ecclesiastical latin from Catholic literature and prayers. I only know a couple of phrases in classical. I never learned it in school.

I want to try and pick up another language if I can fit it into my schedule. I know a decent amount of Spanish but I'd rather know Latin or French. I have a pretty busy schedule and I'm thinking about adding an additional minor as well, so it might not be feasible, but we'll see.

Economics

Ok, nice. Yeah I don't really agree with most of the economic ideas taught in my school's program but I'm interested in the financial side that I'll be studying later on.

Yes. Economics is sometimes considered a stem field because of econometrics classes which are very math heavy. I haven't taken any of the econometrics courses yet but I'm not looking forward to them. Ive always been a more of an essay writer and creative thinker than logician, but I won't really have to use much of the math related stuff once I'm out of college unless I go into a very specific field in economics.

I guess logician is probably the wrong term there but you know what I mean

Well, I kind of still want to be an expert in how the current US government and its economic systems functions. I already know enough about the Keynesian Capitalism to know why I don't like it and yes I understand that it's going to be torture to sit through propaganda for the next two and a half years, but I still think I'll be able to get through it. I have already taken two math classes and I did alright in both of them. I've always been in interested in history as well and I thought about maybe doing that and eventually applying to law school, but I kind of lost interest in law. I figured if I do regain interest, I'm still in a degree which I could use for law, but it could also be more practical on its own. I've done very minor art, but I'm not that great at it. If you're referring to art in other forms, like writing, I'd say I'm pretty good at that.

If we're actively trying to rebel against the government we need intuitive economic solutions also so I want to be able to contribute there

Well, good luck with that exam; I've heard it's quite difficult. I'm definitely open to the advice and recommendations. I still very uncertain on what my plans are after I finish my undergrad.

I'm sure you'll get it all sorted out finish well on that test; You seem like a great guy. I go to a fairly conservative school, as far as universities go, but it's still liberal. I'm from California, so I escaping a much more liberal location to go to school. I'll be at the event in December so maybe meet up and talk then.

I have pretty much everything at this point. I will most likely be using Michael's jacket, as mine doesn't look like it's going to be arriving this week. The sleeping bag I have is fairly light, but I have a ground mat as well so I think I'm good there. I'll try and get a light as Carter just requested, but I'm not sure I'll be able to. I can't find any light online that would arrive before the event, so I may try and go to a store.
