I have a spare heavy duty bump cap I would like to lend you. I will also get my body armor for you. I am also giving you an IFAK medical kit like I showed you when you were at my house. Keep it in a small backpack or on your belt by your crotch, that is the proven safest place to wear it. That basic explanation I gave you that day gives you more knowledge on the subject than probably half of the Org.

Other items of consideration for the event, if you have it or have time/desire to get it:
Mess kit
Non-perishable snacks (protein bars, dehydrated fruits, jerky etc.)
Camel Pack
Plenty of spare lights (Headlamps, ballcap lights, camp lights etc)
Shinguards, kneepads, jockstrap & cup. I don't see how It could hurt to bring, especially if you're on shield duty.
just make sure any safety gear fits under your jacket, pants etc, we want to look tight and uniform, not larpy

Have you left yet? We could use shovels and a saw for firewood here if yoy have them to spare
