We now have 4 more "50 star"s. I will also be donating the three that I have from before I was fully red-pilled. This brings our total contribution up to 19 flags. @Thomas
Hell yea
We will also take a tour of the I-95 bridges to grab the 8 flags on each bridge, we saw at least four bridges with 8 each so we get those and we'll have 32 more
@Tyler CT Jason NY will be in Boston tomorrow
Let's get some guys out to see him and sticker with him
Also Also!!! @Victor MA Is available after 3:30 PM Wednesday for someone to go help him make the banners for this coming weekend
Let's get guys over to him
I don't know how likely we can get guys out during the week.
Only need a few, at the very least I will go and it'll be just the two of us all night, so if we get 4 total we can get it done right quick
On a another note, @Thomas , I vetted Joe today, and Joe also joined us in the fitness and sparring we did. He said he's committed to doing at least one sticker post a week, attend our mumble meetings each week, and take a serious approach to the work we do. He said his podcasts/other work will not get in the way of PF activism. Can we get him added to Rocket Chat?
Ensure he doesn't miss meetings as well. It was an issue before that he would miss every meeting because he was recording his little pet project.
I trust you will have the right approach with him
I specifically asked about that, so he should be there. If not, we'll have to be extra strict with him.
In this circumstance, I think it should be appropriate to remove him at the first sign of any new issues. He has failed to launch three separate times now. No warnings or suspensions.
Agreed
@Tyler CT Phil and I will be meeting Jason NY in Boston tonight to sticker with him.
We will need to mumble with Josh NH to go over some plans for this weekend.
We will also need to see who can get over to Victor MA Wednesday evening, 4 - 5 PM, to make three new banners
I asked for banner making help in NW7 chat. Also, don't we already have the info we need from Josh?
There is a third camping spot that sounds better. He will need to explain that to us
Alright. Want me to set up the mumble meeting with Josh? I would probably aim for 9pm tonight.
Will probably not be able to make it back in time for one tonight. I'll be in Boston with Jason NY
Alright, tomorrow, then
He can tell us about that new camping spot then he'll go, then we'll outline what we're gonna do. Do we have attendance for this weekend?
Henry, Josh, Phill, Tyler, Victor are confirmed. I got a few maybes from people which I'll have to follow up on today.
Yes hopefully the numbers rack up but those are a good start
The new one he suggested is good if we hike onto the island and use the deeper woods there for camping
Do we need more camping food? It's kind of expensive to get the good stuff that Vincent so generously purchased. I think we should bring tortillas, tuna, canned beans, and other things like that. Maybe we could cook some rice or pasta over a fire for the communal aspect. Of course, people are free to bring their own food as well.
Yes to all of that. Canned Tuna is very inexpensive
I bought canned chili and tortillas which can be eaten without any cooking (for lunch). I also got lots of pasta and pasta sauce for dinner. I have enough for everyone, but I also understand that my standards for food are very low so feel free to tell me if we need other stuff. I already had plenty of Tuna which I can bring if we want.
Food so far:
Lunch
3 packages of tortillas (8 wraps each)
12 cans of chili
Dinner
6 lbs of pasta
3 bottles of pasta sauce
Cost of food: $52.56
I also have lots of tuna I can bring if we want it. My standards for food are low, so let me know of any modifications you'd like.
If you have not already, def use all of that up guys
Don't forget to make some hardtack boys
FYI it's way cheaper to not use a red sauce and make hot chili oil pasta.
Linguini + hot red peppers + olive oil.
I was also just looking up burgoo, which is just boiled oatmeal. Paired with molasses and hardtack iit's pretty good. It's what pirates used to eat @NQ - Henry MA
Sounds good mm
@Tyler CT We'll be needing to check that everyone has a headlamp for December
Also we need to go to Walmart and obtain these for our Network when we set up tents in December
These ones are a bit cheaper, but they don't have a directional light mode. I can order them and some batteries now if they're alright. https://www.amazon.com/MalloMe-LEDs-Camping-Lantern-Flashlights/dp/B01D8WEH14?th=1&psc=1
Yes those are perfect. Directional lights can be up to individual headlamps, these will be for our tents and network camp
Purchased. They're arriving Monday.
Hell yea
Was thinking, we really want to have a drill session before December too
I have the video Thomas made of the drill tactics. So we can use that and give our guys a little more experience with it before the big day
I know the last time we did it was almost two months ago
I don't think we'll get that opportunity, but I agree it could be useful.
I know we may not but we can try for next Sunday
We can trade a Thanksgiving for a drill sesh
Do you have responses for the Thanksgiving even?
not really
Better yet let's make next Sunday a drill and action day. Except we'll do 4 banners, 2 to each group, 2 murals, and I'll get Grant and Tyler MD on mumble and we can talk about trying the sign programming
I'd rather us give thanks by advancing the flag of National Spirit
Sure, that's fine.
I would put the word out now that there will be a Drilling Session and Action Gathering next Sunday, 11/28,stress that attendance is mandatory. We absolutely need at least 8 guys
Yo @Thomas could we get a gear list for our guys in December?
Has any further conversation happened with John regarding December?
Was thinking about that today actually and what would be the best way to say hi, how ya doin, any chance you've reconsidered?
Just ask him how he's doing
He will bring it up naturally if he's ready
Agreed
Oh nice. Thank you Tom!
I visited Marshall today. We worked out (a little), and I saw his living area. His space isn't abnormally messy or out-of-control in anyway. I saw no evidence of drinking or any other drug use except for 2 bottles of alcohol deep in his fridge. When I asked him about that, he said it was his roommate's. Marshall does like whiskey, and that's what they were. We then stickered 2 towns, and I bought him dinner. He seemed to be in high spirits and is very interested in his new girlfriend.
Has he spent more than three consecutive days without a girlfriend in the last year?
It seems like a lot of these problems come from that general sector of his life. Outside observation.
His roommate didn't seem to be a negative influence, did he?
His roommate shouldn't be a bad influence in that way. He was described as a typical "bug-man" normy. He collects Funko-pops, and I've been told he works all the time. He's also literally gay.
I agree regarding Marshall's dating record. He told me (months ago) that his mom died when he was very young and he craves female attention now because of that. It's certainly an area of improvement in his life.
Marshall has a habit of not dealing with his problems and drowning himself in new and volatile\ relationships. It's super unhealthy. I used to do the same thing, it can last for a long time.
It's hard to tell someone to stop dating but he owes it to himself to focus on his betterment. Especially since I know he's not looking for a relationship, just fun. It's a distraction.
So @Tyler CT let's you and I mumble with him sometime and tell him straight up, it's clear that you bounce from girl to girl and it is unhealthy. You should try being single for a while and learn to live with and love yourself. He'd gain much maturity in this way
I can't imagine he'll take this advice well, but sure. Do you want to set that up? Generally speaking, I'm available pretty much all the time except 6:40 pm to 8:40 pm
If he's not genuinely thinking this girl could be marriage material she's mainly a distraction.
Some people can afford that kind of distraction in life, and others cannot.
Agreed. Tyler I am also making the MEGA from this weekend
And last Sunday's banner drop please.
Oh yea u bet. I'll label each Link appropriately
Also, Vincent said he talked to John MA. John would like to do the simpler activism such as stickers, but he wants to take essentially a zero-risk position in PF (no banner drops, marches, etc). Since that's not possible, he has agreed to leave the org. I hope he returns after spending some time idly watching his country disintegrate. @Thomas , you can remove @PF-130858 from Rocket Chat when you get a chance. Thanks.
Remember that activities in the org aren't a pick-and-choose buffet. You're in, or you're out.
And like I mentioned, we are not to communicate with him at all. No doing stencils at his house or taking donations from him. It is tempting but we have only gotten this far because we stick to our principals and maintain proper operational security.
Agreed with all. Sad that he has given in to fear , but we will move on without him. One day we'll see him back
@Tyler CT What's our attendance list for December 2nd Thursday night?
And their available times?
Network 7 was only missing one person, I think it was probably John
It was Rex
Sorry
I'll need the list to send the gear list to all attendees. Don't want to mistakenly send to anyone not attending
Wait for Tyler
Henry, we'll probably want to estimate gas cost for travel and add that into the event fee for for each person. We'll also need to coordinate who is bring shared supplies such as tents. We don't want to overpack.
And yes, Rex is the only one not coming in December. Once Joe is added to Rocketchat, I'll tell him about the event.
For gas, it is much better to to have the members of each car split the gas costs on their own. Collecting all the money to the center for three separate cars doesn't allow for allocation of money properly to each car for gas.
For the tents and supplies we can talk about that tonight after we talk to Norman
Alright. I just want to have that info sorted out before we send the gear list.
We'll sort it tonight then
How big/fit is Jim? Would he be a good candidate for shields?
He is not a good fit for shields
He is insufficient in defensive arts
