I dunno. I think if there were more of an economic incentive to pair up we'd see more families starting. Right now though it's not hard for anyone of either gender to make enough to live a limited independent life. Meaning, you can have your own crappy apartment and live within your means without needing anyone else.

Not really Dogass. Im 30 years old, im one of the last people in my friend circle that didnt get married yet. But actual number of couples with children is way lower. It isnt that they want only sex, they are happy together, but having a child is whole new level of complication.
