This is an astounding level of delusion.

I don't think it's a good idea for him to have tweeted that, but it's the same sort of tactic he's pulled off dozens of times.

Tweet something hyperbolic > media goes into outrage mode and 'fact checks' him > fact check illuminates what he wanted to illuminate.

Those directly killed number only in the dozens, with most of the deaths coming from the mismanaged aftermath.

I think he realizes that regardless of the competency of the PR government, he did not do enough to ensure that the aftermath was handled properly.

If there was not enough transportation or heavy machinery available, he could've sent in marines or national guard.
