I'm curious if that's one of the reasons why so many people over react to things these days. I currently take modafinil and do well with it, but in the past I was prescribed adderral (and before that ritalin). It helped me focus, but drastically affected my anxiety. Stuff I in the past was annoyed by/slightly anxious about...became HUGE problems

I've never enjoyed heights...but while I was on adderall it got to the point where even driving over bridges was difficult. I knew it was insane...but I couldn't control it. It took me a while to figure out what the problem might be and when I brought it up to my doctor...they were ready to prescribe me anti-anxiety meds to counter-act the anxiety I was feeling

I believe there have been studies that show that is accurate. However, I haven't looked into it myself. I will say that people learn differently and treating everyone the same is an issue

I'm just saying that it seems to be something that is assigned to more people now than in the past and the drugs that help people with those symptons have a TON of side affects that only seem to be treated by taking more drugs
