Making Thanos a Malthusian felt a lot like dumbing down the premise of the Matrix to make humans an energy resource instead of a computing resource.

i dont know if todays audience would have went for it

i would like to see it and for them tohave had the balls to do it

Thanos Quest is actually one of my all-time favorite comics series so I know exactly how much Thanos was dumbed down.

Like oh great, it's not because they are allies or anything. Or friends. No, it's just because they are women. Because apparently men wouldn't help them, or if they did it would be sexist because they just assume they couldn't handle it. It's not just friends looking out for each other. No, that never happens.
