but the government doesn't just cause you to lose your social circle and make life difficult for you if you disagree with their political preferences

2018-09-23 09:39:07 UTC

Its one of those systems where its okay, as long as you're a pet to the government

2018-09-23 09:39:13 UTC

You are nice? You get treats

2018-09-23 09:40:22 UTC

And then an authoritarian anti-current-government government takes over,

Looks at the high-score and executes those people for being sycophants to the previous state

2018-09-23 09:42:59 UTC

Shouldnt they execute themselves if they are anti-current-government? ๐Ÿ˜‰ jk

I tip Tims beanie to you sir, you are technically correct,

Tim, usualy when i heard anyone define the deep state, thats exactly the type of people they described. State Beurocrats, officers, agents, social workers employed by the state,...,...

2018-09-23 12:32:51 UTC

Unless veritas catches bigger game then itโ€™s not really the deep state.

2018-09-23 12:33:04 UTC

it is

2018-09-23 12:33:35 UTC

at least the way most people appear to be using the term

2018-09-23 12:34:09 UTC

Deeps state has far more power than a few low level employees trying to slowball things or using government resources for harassment campaigns.

2018-09-23 12:34:31 UTC

Yes

2018-09-23 12:34:39 UTC

Social workers in paticular are very powerful

2018-09-23 12:34:52 UTC

I disagree Punks. I think much more of higher ups. Not small fry working in small group or alone trying to stick it the man.

2018-09-23 12:35:17 UTC

Indoctrinating the disabled people they take care of or even voting for them

2018-09-23 12:37:29 UTC

Deep state are the people who can bribe, assassinate, pass legislation, wiretap, etc.

2018-09-23 12:38:09 UTC

If you don't have security clearance I don't think you can be class as 'deep state'

2018-09-23 12:38:24 UTC

the deep state by definition can not pass legislation at least. Policies at most

2018-09-23 12:40:43 UTC

The Dear Colleague letter being a prime example of public activity of the deep state

2018-09-23 12:48:03 UTC

i don't know, i've always understood 'deep state' to mean exactly what project veritas is showing, just at a higher level: unelected lifetime bureaucrats manipulating and undermining the legitimate government. people like lois lerner and john koskinen.

2018-09-23 12:49:13 UTC

they get to hide behind miles of bureaucracy and red tape, are completely unaccountable and can't possibly be fired for malfeasance.

2018-09-23 12:51:34 UTC

if you become a political enemy of theirs, they can just leak government records about you, start investigations, audits, inspections, cancel permits, pressure your bank to cancel your account or deny services. lots of ways they can fuck with you and no one would have any way to stop them or even know it was happening.

2018-09-23 12:51:52 UTC

Calling low level employees the deep state makes it easier to laugh off the entire concept.

2018-09-23 12:52:05 UTC

these are just the stupid ones

2018-09-23 12:52:11 UTC

The ones who get caught

2018-09-23 12:52:41 UTC

The bigger issue though, is where are the people condemning this? You dont see their higher ups taking care of this

2018-09-23 12:52:59 UTC

Apparently it was being looked into.

2018-09-23 12:53:16 UTC

But then again it could be looked into by deep state people.

2018-09-23 12:53:32 UTC

It does not count if its just the same org investigating itself

2018-09-23 12:53:46 UTC

Its like google has investigated google and has concluded google has done nothing

2018-09-23 12:53:56 UTC

nothing happened to lerner or koskinen. they were able to abuse their unelected office for partisan ends and they both walked away scot free.

2018-09-23 12:54:10 UTC

Right. Deep state investigating the deep state.

2018-09-23 12:54:19 UTC

"As of June 25, 2014, Koskinen had contributed almost USD $100,000 to Democratic candidates and groups." -
