You still in Academia ?
Yea I am in academia still. But I'm looking for jobs in other industries because my prospects of getting a teaching position aren't very good
I'm looking for jobs in eastern europe, specifically Hungary (Romania or Poland would be good too)
You mean like private schools ?
I know there's one private university in budapest that appears to be styled rather fancy, having higher than ussual tuition fees
I meant to ask you yesterday. What do you teach?
there are english taught courses then, also all around poland (Warsaw, Krakow, Lodz, Olstzyn, Wroclaw, and elsewhere)
I almost have a PhD in history. I'll complete it in a few weeks, if all goes according to plan. and yea shep I'm looking for jobs teaching both english and history. the history will have to be in english though because I speak neither Polish nor Hungarian (or anything else besides French and a little Russian)
also, i laughed my ass off watching this Mexican get arrested and deported! "You Trump supporters happy?" - not yet, but it's a start http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshhzI54HVO1JU44Q233
lol that's pretty funny
i like how we says shit like ''they've got nothin better to do!''
''they aint stoppin real crime!''
yeah bitch, illegal immigration is a real crime
and a huge strain on the economy
Good luck! Mine is in a STEM field. Getting through a defense isn't something I'd care to repeat.
yea it's a pain in the ass doc. my corrections are due on monday so here is to hoping the committee accepts me as I am... a flawed but couragous member of the movement. and also a guy who is going to red pill the fuck out of my students
I always enjoyed my history classes, however I no longer trust anything I was taught. Can you recommend a book on American History that isn't propaganda? Or perhaps some historians that can be trusted to present the facts?
well, if you don't mind reading from a jew check out "the americans" by Daniel J. Boorstein. he is a former librarian of congress and a damn good historian. very pro american very pro european. there are 3 books in his "The Americans" series and they are all excellent. they red pilled me as a teen and damn if I ever have to teach US hist (I teach western civ now) they will be my go too books
and you are right not to trust your history teachers. most are marxists who believe in a flawed historiography based on the notion of a telological worldview where by society is moving to a utopia. they are like children who still believe in santa
i cannot reveal my true power levels 😦
boorstin, i knew i was spelling it wrong
Thanks. I'll look for that series. If you ever need help with an optical design, let me know.
cool. what's optical design?
is that like graphic design?
also go-to, b/c i can't fucking spell today
No. Optics is the study of the interaction of light with matter. A rifle telescope or a the front end of a digital camera would be examples optical designs.
i should have known that
all i remember from newtonian physics is F=MA and even that is sketchy to me 😉
this chat is pretty dead
but the other one is pretty good
how about you?
