i went to a house-show in seattle and talked politics after drinking

big mistake

the people complaining about patriarchy paying tribute to the patriarchy in the most real sense of the word (rich whites progressives in this case)

get this

i explained i was a journalist for a college 30 minutes away from seattle

and i covered topics about equity and shit

then i went into detail about how blacks have a higher rate of violent crime

which is a fact

but i defended them

saying it was because of pop culture and that more of them live in urban areas which have higher rate of crime across the board

these people denied the facts and called me racist

one guy walked up half way in the argument and said "that's a very white male thing to say"

all i can think is to iron clad yourself with citations based off known liberal professors

because there are some decent guys around but you gotta find them

then if people accuse you of being racist explain you got info from people probably more educated or liberal then themselves

yeah i get it

the problem was that i went to a house-show which is a ghetto version of a shitty music studio

also no offense but if i was you i'd try to transfer, sounds like a no win game whatever the college is

where someone turns their house into a studio

i wanna go to Evergreen College in Olympia, WA

always wanted to

lo and behold, they became a cesspool of far left madness while I was waiting to go there

I'm a left-leaning independent

and I was fucking furious over their riots

Evergreen seems like a good college as long as you keep away from the politics

The system itself is great, and the campus looks beautiful

Its just the retarded faculty and students

surrounded by many acres of trees

pass/fail system, project-oriented

There's no grades, narrative reports

i was so fucking mad when the riots broke out

Seems to have calmed down now tbh
